Trich color?....

Ive been growing for quite awhile and ive recently in the past yr started to look at the trichs to know when the bud is ready to harvest. But i recently got a bubblegum strain from my friend and it looks so so ready to harvest but when i look at the trichs they are about 100% cloudy but absoloutley none amber. Almost 100% of the buds hairs have gone from orange to drak red and withered up like the buds are ripe as hell.
Then i look at a Sadhu that has atleast 60% hairs still white and the other 40 orange and it looks like its got a couple weeks left but when i look at those trichs its about 10% amber.
Now i was wondering if there were stains where the trichs didnt change to amber? is that possible?
thanks guys!

Some do not get amber; that is up to the strain on what kind of high the strain produces; so your strain he is growing is a head high strain; if you let it grow to long you can lose potency........ Yes it is very common and possible.

naa, that has to do with strain; each strain is different; gives you different buzz's, medical stuff like pain reliever, helps with nausea, munchies.. that kind of thing; so I honestly think it's got to do with the strain soiley and not too do with any light spectrum.

Give the plants a little extra phosphorus and cut off the nitrogen at the end and they will do what they are suppose to do.
Feeding lot's of nitrogen till the end slows finishing. In nature cannabis ambers because of the drop in nitrogen and the rise in phosphorus in the soil at the end of the season. It triggers a hormonal change in the plant. Replicate nature and you'll get what you are after. You'll get better tasting buds too.

Also, avoid any kind of hormone during the last couple of weeks before harvest too. This can really **** with the plant at it's finishing stage.

Well i really think this has to do with strain, because i was using the Lucas Formula and then began to flush last 2 weeks in flood tables, and every strain in the table was obviously gettin the same thing, and the Sadhus trichs are at about 5-10% amber doin its thang but this bubblegum has no ambers but pretty much 100% cloudy...so i really think this had something to do with genes and the top half of the plat is definetly done. Every single hair on it was dark red and shrivled up and the calyxs were ****in about to explode they are so big. So i decided the chop the top half of each of the bubblegums that were displaying this trait.
I dont want to loose potency and chop to late because this strains trichs dont trun amber, that would really **** with me.
