TRC's Blue13 SOG style

Here are three Blue13 clones that I flowered ala SOG.

Bless all you SOG growers out there, I don't see how ya do it and keep your sanity. I like bigger yields and lower plant count myself.

^^ So that means this way is a lot of work? Looks good either way.

Man Smokey, I like to think that all growin is good growin but......

The SOG style of grow is not for me. I can not get even in the same ballpark as far as yield and the space requirement is great for the larger number of plants required to hit a yeild number that is not a waste of time. The lights and supporting gear cost the same whether I pull an once pera plant or four onces per plant so I opt for the later.

There is not a strain out there that doesn't produce more when pruned/topped during the veg stage.

I know what you mean TK but after successive grows with big broad plants I'd love to get down to some smaller plants that yeild like that.

I think it ends up bein an O to an O-1/2 per plant done this way

You could bet 34 or so on a 4x4 table and 16 on a 2x2

Blue13 x Bluemoonshine

Blue13 x Bluemoonshine

Hey there Tex looks great, gonna be trying something along the lines of SOG soon although i am considering combining LST into the method to increase the number of tops and hopefully yield too...........anyway here are a few bud shots of some Blue13 x Bluemoonshine from JLP, be interested to see if any look similar to your end results......help determine which parents mine favoured.......the smoke is beautiful.

Peace

Looks good, your right though, SOG is better if you have more plants. Atleast thats the idea, more plants, shorter time to harvest = more buds. I guess it really depends on the situation. In my sog, I get 20 to 25 clones harvested every 45 to 60 days (depending on the strain). Buds end up about 4 to 5'' thick and about 18 to 24'' long, again depending on the strain, my sativa clones tend to take a little longer (jack h). But anyway, your buds look great, keep up the good work.

I probably had 25 total plants goin SOG and the yield is good per plant but you can easily double almost triple to yeeld with a little more veg time and pruning. I think(I know) I would be closer to 3lbs. per round rather than 1lb from a SOG method.

LST would be an excellent way to get alot more killer tops from the process and use the same toal space.

Light saturation into and through your canopy is the trick, more direct light the better, pruning giant fan leaves helps to that end.
