TRC Blue Diesel

Greetings all! I'll be starting off the New Year right, when I harvest these gals in the next week or two. They're at day 66, but no amber trichs yet, and a good amount of clear. I can wait.

A little background. The monk made these as a one-off, using the selected Double Sour Diesel stud he picked out of a pack Rez had sent him. He also made Double Sour Diesel F2's, and I have a few of those going as well. :wink:

The mama was his Blueberry #38, heir to many of his crosses.

Here's my three girls @ day 66. They've all been topped. The one in the foreground is the runt, and will be cut @ 70 days.



The two in the back row have both recently seen their bud leaves turn black.

Very nice I have some Klingon Adventure seeds left over from awhile back. I was wondering if any of you TRC aficionados know anything about it or have ever grown it out. Also would like to know about the BluesugerBerry I have it also. Plan on growing them out soon and was just wondering.

Happy New Year, all! Thank you all for stopping by and checking these gals out!
Bacchus, I am totally surprised by the lack of powerful smell they have. Smell is not an issue w/ me, and I can smell them outside the growroom, but it's not a strong 'pot' smell. Up close, "sour" is the 1st word that comes to mind.
I figured these would run 70-75 days, and they might go longer. Tomorrow will be day 70, and I'm JUST starting to see a few amber trichs.
This is my 1st indoor grow in 5 yrs, so I'm still working things out. The next rd. of clones just went in, and they're all as tall as the current canopy.
Besides the 3 girls shown, I had a 4th gal of the same age, that was a heavy indica-leaning pheno. I lost elec. for a light cycle due to a storm, and she
started popping balls and was yanked.
I have two other Blue Diesel girls a week behind the ones shown. Both of these went untopped, and what I refer to as the 'sativa' pheno, was bent to comply with the canopy. Both of these plants sport a more 'runny' bud structure. Check them out:

Also, I received these beans in '04/'05. LS sent me 2 packs of the BD's and one of the DSD F2's. I farmed out one of the BD packs to a buddy here, and this is what he had to say of the Blue Diesel he grew in '06.

"The DSD x Blueberry is very potent. It causes insanity. I have not really figured it out. I am not sure what it is good for. I cannot do much of anything if I smoke too much."

those look great! sour diesel is very dominant in all the crosses i have seen of her.... only one where it was slightly overpowered by another strain was in the deep chunk x sour d cross made by someone round these parts... but then dc is notoriously dominant in its offspring.

I have little experience w/ either blueberry or sour diesel, so can't comment on what's what in these phenos.

DAY 80 UPDATE

Yesterday was day 80 for the 3 oldest plants.


BD #5 (btm) and BD #1 (left) will be taken down tomorrow @ day 82

The other one, BD #3, will be taken when ready. I call her 'Bruiser' over her coloring. Check her out:

I took down BD #7 yesterday @ day 73, as she was starting to produce more than a few nanners. They seem impotent, but I have too many newly flowering things to worry about pollen flying.

man Highlighter im most imperest with ur bd plants the look sweet as hell ive always been interested in blueberry but am yet 2 grow it same with sour diesel but sure enough i will one day!
