Travelling cross state w/clones

On a long ass car ride with my mom last saturday she told me a relative of mine from Texas has been growing his own weed for like 3x my entire life. He's now 80 years old and still tokes it every day. On a whim the next day I called him, we had a nice little conversation about growing. He used to do hydro in the 90's when that was the thing but got tired of keeping up on all the extra bullshit that comes with hydro so he's been 100% organic for 10 years.

When I asked about what he grows he says he's been growing "roadkill skunk, the good shit" for as long as he can remember (so not that long haha).

Is there any safe way to get a mom across state lines? If there is some pig proof travel cab I could make I'd be so motherfucking down to go get me some dank ass roadkill skunk and blaze with my old ass uncle.

I don't know but if i was living in the usa i wouldn't dare to drive trhough states with clones in the car , it aint worth it imho

That being said I'd just take a few cuts and stash them away rather than take a whole mum. Or, like thc said, just mail them to yourself. Works like a charm.

If mailing works then I'm down but I don't wanna make a trip to texas and mail dead plant matter to myself...

Take cuts. Wrap base of cuts in wet paper towel. Put in sandwich bag. Put sandwich bag in bigger sandwich bag. Put that into box. Mail box. Root them when they arrive.

There are all kinds of specialty boxes at any UPS/fedex store. Be creative. I used to use the boxes that you ship VHS tapes in. If I were to do it now, I'd probably use a tube...like for posters.

in the last year ive driven with a shitload clones, i never travel with more than i can eat in the time it takes to slowly pull over (no more than 10 plants) also i keep them right in the front seat in a plastic bag inside of a paper bag so if i need to eat a salad I have easy access. just be smart about it, Don't speed, etc. dont give the pigs any reason to mess with you, Also either blaze before you leave (the 40 is a long ass drive) or don't blaze at all. but hey this is just what I do all in all trust your gut

Fuc*in dope, although i hope you weren't driving around like that, reminds me of last summer, I had a brand new car my buddy calls me up and wants me to take over 16 Purple Kush ladies that were 6 weeks in 12/12 and about 3-4' tall needless to say my back seat looked like a jungle 15 miles of dirt roads and about an hour later i got home thank god. that was SUPER SKETCH. the funny thing is I sweat balls if im drivin with more then an oz but the plants for some reason dont scare me as much

as for as sending and dont ask me how i know but you should ask in the floridas growers thread...my way of transporting clones interstate includes a power inverter a large coffe grinder or small food prossecor (suck at spelling) guart r so of water and a stomache.

I think I'll never forget the time in 1980 when a buddy of mine and I decided to move about 50 2-3 foot plants in a station wagon. We just lowered the back seats and popped them in, visible to anyone who looked. No worries, no hurries, man it was a different world back then. Of course I think we were the only people in the world who grew at the time. It still amuses me to think of all my fellows who told me there was no way to grow good pot in the US.
