traveling w/IOLITE

Anyone ever travel with their Iolite vaporizor through airport customs etc.

Will be going from U.S. to Amsterdam then France, then home.

unit is relatively clean, being a vporizor and all there's not much residue on it.

i don't know man there is still some residue and that's a lot of bag checking and multiple customs agencies. I have brought back new glass and such from Holland though...it's that whole used-trace residue-easy to test- thing you should think about.

I would get 2 cheap pipes in Holland, use one and toss it when I left, then try to bring the other one to France...maybe have that one be some type of sneak a toke. Once in Brazil I had to buy a regular pipe...it was ceramic or something, worked great.

don't do it unless you thoroughly clean it first. Not even sure what would be good enough, isopropyl alcohol maybe .. I'd just leave it home. (my local head shop has a deal on the Iolite's lately, only $130...)

so not worth it,,customs=no joke most the times. Luck of the draw..After all its just a iolite, im sure you could do something old school to get by. Im one of those guys thats been busted at the hotel pool smoking out of an apple. that guy...

I ordered a some of metal pipe parts to bring with me for les than $10.
Enough for two pipes. I'll assemble them when needed.
