why do growers start in small pots an work there way up,i used to do it just cause every 1 else was doin it now i just put them in a big enough pot to last the whole cycle an never noticed the diffrence in any way at all,so why put your plants into a stress phase when you don't really need to,some 1 please tell me,cause i don't find it nesscery at all

Because roots shoot to the bottom and start circling. Potting up gradually usually helps develop a better root structure. Personally in my experience it helps me to avoid over watering situations which are easy to do if you go from a 1 gallon straight to a 15 gallon. Plus potting up gradually will help utilize space better. If I go from a one gallon to a five gallon, I can fit 9 of those five gallons under one light until they need more. If they were in 15's, not so much.

helps create a very stable root system.. also.. helps with over or under watering.. and because u can fit more plants in a room...
