Transplanting Leggy Seedlings

When transplanting a leggy seedling can I bury part of the stem like they do with tomatoes. Some tomato gardeners even cut off bottom leaves and plant them deep and they roots off of the buried stems. Can I do this with cannabis plants and would it help?

bury them all the way to the top leaf st....works for me every time...

hell when i plant seeds I only fill half the cup.... so after the seed pops I can add more medium to cover the over exposed stem....

also bring the light closer....will help cut out the stretch....
