Transplant? Add nutes? Is it rootbound?

My box is trapezoid shaped, and between 1.5 and 1.8 sq feet. I have about 30" of height. My girls(2, one about 5-7 days older than the other) are currently in 1.5 gallon sub irrigated rectangular tubs in Dr Earth POT O' gold soil. No nutes given at all thus far, at 5 weeks+ of veg, might flip to 12/12 this weekend. One has been topped, the other FIM'ed. Screw in LED bulbs, currently at 108 watts, and a mix of 5000k(8) and 2700k(4). This will be reversed in flower.

Do these look rootbound, or in need of some nutes?

Got home tonight, with the intention of flipping to 12/12 for flower, and came across the following.

Should I just pinch those off, or is there some other remedy, or just let them go?

the first pictures look like the new growth is light green. , and you have gone 5+ weeks without adding nutrients.

i would start adding nutrients, the existing leaf damage will not get better but you should see the new growth green up.

the lower leaves near the soil i would pull off. the upper leaves with the rust spots i would leave alone, the plant will boot them eventually.

Your plants look very yellowish.

Add some nutrients or it will get worse as flowering plants need lots of nutrients.

Just feed them more often from now on.

Its not in enough compost to do a whole grow without adding anything. To do a full lazy grow you need at least 20litres 25 is better. Less than that and your moving into kiss territory. Grab a one bottle solution, ionics bloom for compost or plant magics oldtimer bloom.
The other option is to keep a mother and do small clones in the style of blynx.

The only nutes I could easily get today were Seedlingers Elixer, at a 3-.06-.06 NPK, and I am at about 1/3 the recommended ratio.

I was hoping to flip to 12/12 today, but the march goes on.

Maybe Monday. Pics to come tomorrow, after a bit of recovery and trimming.

if your roots and leaves are like that and you put it into flower youre just asking for trouble. you always wanna start at 100% or atleast 80% health when you go to flower it. starting at 50% only gives you half the chance. and every percent you drop the lower quality and yield you will be getting. you should try smart pots. itll get rid of your root bound problem. well unless youre leaving them there for a long time:)

Much love

Looking a little bit better.

Of course, now the top layer of soil looks wet, and i have a plethora of gnats.:wallbash:

Added some crumbled Mosquito Dunks to the surface of my soil and will keep watching.

Here are some pics from earlier today

what you are using is an organic nutrient, the recommended dose is one ounce per gallon, i would follow the instructions on the bottle the next time you need to feed, those plants are really hungry and will begin to show a more serious deficiency soon.

Ok, these pics are from this morning. I think they look better, but I'm colorblind...lol. This weekend will be 7 weeks of veg, and the nutes are prompting a little stretching. My hope is that I can flip to 12/12 this weekend. I also picked up some Tiger Bloom for flowering nutes, as I dont want to make the same mistake again.

What say you? Think I can flip?

Also, thanks to everyone for the help.
