Trainwreck Mutations

Just curious if anyone else has experienced this with Trainwreck.

Healthy plant chatacteristics:
1.plants generally stretch about 4 times the heigth after flower initiation
2.Leaves are generally a dull bluish green color.
3.The plant generally starts showing at about day 14 with bud tips about
"pencil eraser" size
4.Trichome develop start about this time "14-20" days and continues throughout the plants life.

OK,.
Mutant plant characteristics:
1. Plants only stretch about 2 times initial height
2.The leaves are more of a traditional green color and are very waxy and shiny in appearance
3.The plants start showing sooner, but after about 3 weeks they seem to be frozen in time and develop very little over the next 5 weeks.
4. Trichome development also stops and looks nothing like a healthy , mutation -free plant.

This mutation seems to occur often and seems to be related to cloning stress of some kind.

When placing a healthy plant next to a mutant its hard to believe they are the same strain, much less cuttings off the same mother.

anyone else????

never noticed that.

tho i can say that you will find runts in batches of TW cuts, so always clone 2x or so what you plan on actually using, just like any strain.

usually you can tell a runt pretty quickly.

um, so it might be stunted. the waxy leafs sound like too much nitrogen.

but let me ask you.. how does stunted = mutant?

did you personally take the cut from your own mom? so you know for sure what it is?

my experiences w/ TW sound more similar to your "healthy" description, except that it stretches about 200% original height.. not 400%.. in my experience..

doesnt sound like a mutation to me, sounds more like nutrient related.. or some other problem.. cant diagnose much better w/ more info and pics

Maybe TW is the most common in these parts but if you notice in my gallery, the plant in the back, is just short of 6 feet...so to answer your question..yes on all, except for number 2....

I start them at about 25 inches...
