trainwreck experiences

hello everybody. i just had sort of a passing thought on how long ive been inhaling the old wreck. it must be at least 30 months of constant tw exposure at this time, not necessarily everyday but certainly every week at the least. As i just enjoyed this bowl of fullmelt tw bubble im starting to think that i have an ungodly tolerance to this strain... ive tried to subdue it and give the tw a rest but it seems to come back really really fast.

anyone else have experiences with trainwreck tolerance?

i don't have any experience with Train wreck but i'd think after 30 months of any strain you'd build up a good tolerance. Throw 2-3 more strains in there and rotate them around. A pure indica, pure sativa and then some hybrids and it should be non stop fun.

oh dont worry, i rotate about 10 strains of herb and another 10 in hash. i still have tw as a preference though, and its some of the best quality too.

I've only had the pleasure of having REAL Trainwreck come around once, about a year ago. I managed to get an 8th of it (didn't wanna spend anymore, it was expensive). I love that stuff though, def. some of the best quality ganja I've seen in the past little bit. I would do anything for some more of that....

Trainwreck is pretty common in my area. Comes around once a month probably. It actually came around tonight, and I remember seeing this thread today so I couldn't resist posting some dank shots of the nugs that I'm smoking.

legit, it always smells the same, like a food or something, soo BOMB!!!!

PEACE GUYS HOPE YOU LIKE

nice dude, im interested by a couple factors on that nug. im sure its the tw but just as a note mine have much more sativa like leaves than that nug. this was the case over much of the plants. similar color to the nug, diff hair color but thats just ripeness i think. its a beautiful strain though... the hash from it is such a terrific representation of its taste too. glad to see you have jedi runnin as well. shes definitely a potent and hefty lady.

I've had TW tolerance before. After smoking it for a good period of time, then stopping, then partaking again, I also noticed that the tolerance kicked in pretty fast.

However, that was about 4 years ago. I have TW growing right now, and it still packs a punch! But I do have to switch up the variety myself on a regular basis.

I've noticed, with pretty every strain, that once you've built up high tolerance, it seems to come back real fast after a break. First bowls hit real good, but after that it's on the same level as before the break... sucks.

Yea no matter what, I think strain doesn't matter much, you'll always get some kind of tolerance. If you take a break, and then smoke again you'll be back to normal tolerance in no time which sucks. But oh well, I don't mind just kickin back and smoking all day everyday and enjoying how it does make me feel or just enjoying the smoke period.

On that nug I posted I have a few answers ;) The sativa more or less is true for sure, I have gotten TW many times before this and the leaves were super thin and long. So I would guess sativa. On this nug, I'm sure it's TW cuz of the smell, you seriously can't deny it, theres no mistaking it, it's always the same exact DANK smell. Smells like food almost. The TW I'm smoking ATM though, is pretty unsatisfying....It is fluffy and shouldn't be from these big leaves I would determine fat nugs off a more indica phenotype or something. It has some none orange hairs and this just tells us all whoever grew it pulled it too early, therefore I always determine that it probably hasn't been flushed very well leaving the taste way below my par...And also I kind of thought it was a little numbing on the throat to smoke, which I have read is nutrient left in the plant. All that being said, the TW I am holding right now is pretty frosty, and DAMN does she have the smell! But I wouldn't pick this TW up again. PEACE GUYS

oh yeah man, no doubt about you knowin shes the real deal.. once youve had it your nose will always tell you. see what im curious about really is how orange haired tw would smoke. never once have i had any that was that ripe.. mines always chopped for an up high around 90% clear trichs.

What's up Papulz,

I could tell you that right now. I like it when TW has more of the orange hairs. I tend to chop mine around the 8.5-9 week time frame. Other's may disagree, but that's what I prefer. When chopped at the mentioned time frame, TW is rather an up/stoney/overall body-head high. If you partake too much, you'll get "Wrecked".
