Trainwreck day 34

Flowering under a 400w hps in coco/hydrotron 1 gal containers. Feeding with the pure blend pro line, karma, cal-mag, and some big bloom.

And here's the big table, flowering under a 1000w hps, virtually the same nutes as the trainwreck ladies. The ones with the huge fan leaves along the left side are 5 vietnamese purples, the two big ones in the front right are two more trainwreck ladies, and there's 12 medusas.

I have no idea if it really even is Trainwreck at all. I got the beans from a dealer buddy of mine, he said it's from an outdoor med crop from Mendecino.

So after consulting a calendar, it appears they are at 49 days right now.
How much longer would you all give them?

By the way, anyone want a kitten?

Great pics evil :canabis: Looks like you have a week or mare left IMO based on the last pic (not the kitten lol). Take care and enjoy the harvest :D

I forgot this picture:

So we've been flushing it for about 5 days now, and even though we've tied up the branches as much as we could, it's all still falling over anyways. I hope it lasts another week on the plant

So I think we're going to chop them both within the week.

And here's what we've got brewing for the next run:
The row of plants along the mylar on the left are purple indica

These two ladies in the foreground are supposedly trainwreck from seed. We popped 5 seeds, and got 2 drastically different females, a tall lanky one and a short bushy one

and the rest of the plants filling up the table are medusa

5 purple indica, 2 "trainwreck" and 12 medusas.
And these are two plants that got overgrown in the table, but we just couldn't stand to part with. The one on the left is medusa, and the one on the right is purple indica.

Great garden you have there evil. Yep, Id say about a week or less will be perfect for the chop. Looks like you got a great lineup coming up as well. Enjoy the spoils :joint:

I'm really starting to wonder what strain this is...

We're gonna chop them tomorrow. What with the big table moving right along, and work being slow due to the winter, we're hurting for some quality herb.
I didn't notice until tonight how purple the fan leaves got. I guess I just never bothered them when the HPS was off, so they always looked orange to me :p

dude those plants are friggin awesome!!! i have to say tho that it doesn't look like tw, it looks more like a skunk/bigbud thing or somethin which would make sense with it being from a mendo od show like u were saying...that being said i would let those plants go another week or ten daze, u have put this much into it just let them ripen up a bit more :) u will not be disappointed, u can tell those calyxes are gonna keep swelllllllling!!!...

Yeah, I'm highly doubting that it's actual TW.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone, and yeah, I'm pretty sure it isn't TW.

See, my girlfriend's mom used to take these trips down to Mendecino, and she would come back with like 5 or 10 p's of medical. One time, a couple of the p's were touted as being "trainwreck" and that's where these seeds came from.

The main reason we're chopping them is because they can't take the weight any more. We've tied nearly EVERYTHING up as much as we could, and both of them are still tipping sideways, so in a week's time, they would have fallen over anyways.

I'll post some chop pics later on today, or maybe tomorrow.

Oh, and by the way, did I mention that I doubt this is TW?

Well, the real trainwreck is an elite clone. So there is no actual seed version, well there is but IMO it's nothing like the real deal. The real trainwreck is just a certain elite phenotype, once you try and make that strain into seeds...your chances of finding a female thats just like the clone version are very unlikely.

No matter what strain it is though, i wouldn't harvest it yet...looks like it has atleast a week or two to go. Make sure you harvest according to the trich color. It's up to you when to harvest but i suggest somewhere between 100% cloudy to 50% cloudy 50% amber.

EDIT: Oh, and about the weight issue. Those colas don't look very big, so they shouldn't be falling over from the weight of the buds. As long as they have a nice sturdy stem and aren't very lanky they shouldn't be falling over. Either way, tying up the branches isn't that much work...not to mention you shouldn't have to be tying any more up, i mean the plant isn't going to be growing anymore branches if it's this late into flowering. I know it's hard but make sure you wait until it's fully ready, i'd hate to see you harvest early and lose yield as well as potency.
