Torturing a couple Malawi

Well here goes nothing:biggrin: I can't treat these two very nice as they have to grow to my parameters.
2gal canna coco in fabric containers
Blumat drip system
Veg + Bloom feed at 1.3ec for entire bloom
Each will be crammed in a corner of only about 3 square feet, but they can grow 8' tall:biggrin:
Verticle grow-1k hps in aircooled tube + CMH 3000 Ushio
They will be tied to the corner walls- no spreading wings
No 11-13
No lowering N- they have to eat what all the other girls eat
I put them in bloom room today
I just chopped 2 Malawi X Black Lime Reserve that did real well, of course they were hybrids. See how it goes I guess.:tiphat:

Ha these sativa will probably show me who's boss. I just might be persuaded to handwater them a lighter feed even though my 1.2-1.3ec feed is light. That sounds like too much work and I hope the feed isn't too heavy. I have a 30gal main res pumping up to a 5 gal res and 1/2" hydro lines running downstairs into the bloom rooms. Been running blumats for about 3 years. Like them a lot. As far as going 11/13 later in bloom I'm afraid of screwing up all the other strains in the room. I welcome any feedback on what would happen to the other strains running 11/13. I'm a strain sampler and I still have a shitload to see. Here is what is growing in the rooms with the Malawi right now, it changes every week as I chop and add more:

No piks of #1, I chopped at night and couldn't get any good piks with flash, I got black hands from the resin though:biggrin:
I will post piks of #2, I'm going to try and drag that 8 foot fucker outside for piks in the morning. No matter what I will get lots of piks in the daylight, that's why I'm not chopping right now. Tomorrow night I promise, pictures of indoor BLACK DEATH:biggrin:

I haven't grown any pot in anything but hydroponics in over 10 years and let me just say the sativa's are kicking my ass! My zamaldelica and 1 of the hazes were both root bound as a mug and I had no idea....They dont look to be bulking at all the haze really isn't blooming yet at 34 days of 11/13 but the zam is pretty small bud wise so hoping the up pot and some more nutrients will bring them back to respectability. Watch for super fast root growth as things grow like they are in the wild.

All right, the story of Malawi X Black Lime Reserve as I know it:
A kind generous man gave Baked Beanz some seed strains, one of them was this cross he made. Old Killer Malawi X Black Lime Reserve F1. Beanz grew it out and I sampled a lot of his strains in a 2 week period. All great smoke as Beanz is a top notch grower. Everything was smooth and tasty. My brother and I smoked about 1/2 a joint and were floored by it's potency. Mule kick to the head, narcotic and brainscrambling at the same time. 5 hour buzz. Almost like good dabs. I told Beanz it was the best I've had. I'm not sure the other smoke reports he got were this good. All my friends I tried it with liked it as much as me.
So I finally chopped 2 of the F2s I'm testing for Beanz. I got tired of calling it Killer Malawi X Black Lime Reserve F1 so I started calling it Black Death, mostly because I can, who cares, I call it BD for short. I'm on a quest to find a heavy yielding cut that finishes in 10 weeks and gives me the Killer Malawi narcotic high and smell and taste of the Black Lime. This pheno #2 ticks all the boxes so far but the most important box is the buzz. I'll just keep looking till I find the best cut. Beanz has a Malawi project and found some fast finishing Malawi in his packs of New Killer Malawi fems. So my mate Beanz is letting me test some New Killer Malawi X Black Lime Reserve#7. My hats off to Baked Beanz who without I'd be sitting here smoking some white widow or blueberry or some other yesteryear shit.:tiphat:
This is what I mean by torture, the bitch was tied up in the corner and only allowed to grow up. The 2 Malawi I just put in will get the same treatment. This is 11 weeks but it was well done at 9.5-10 weeks. Loud pleasant Lime smell- it reeks.
