Tops turning black and stunted!!

I usually start flowering earlier, before plants get too large. Tops, especially near lights are turning black and stunted. Temp is only about 80F. Could too much light be a problem, or is it something else? They are under HPS lights, so need to cut off to take pictures.



Any help would be appreciated!

I just found that in troubleshooting pictures. Phosphorous lockout from cool temps.

It is summer and hot as hell. Basement might hit 67F for low. Have a good size fan blowing on them in tent. Will turn that off now. Have a cooltube venting tent.

Other part of area is 70F. The strain is GG4.

I follow GH charts, so should be appropriate. Is there something I can add to raise Phosphorous??

I was reading about Phosphorous, and it can be locked out by PH. I feed 600 PPM and 6.2 PH. Checked runoff about a week ago and PH was 4.8 to 5.2. I gave half strength feed with some florakleen to remove salt buildup, and adjusted to 6.8 PH, then resumed normal schedule. Hoping it is from then. Going to check runoff of all plants now.

I'd wait a few days and see how the newly ph adjusted feed is working, sounds likely you already figured it out. 67 is not cold enough to make purple in my opinion, although I would have suspected that by looking at it It's kind of a brighter purple which would be less likely for cold temps.

Just finished checking runoff of coco. Feeding 600 PPM and 6.2 PH. Runoff averages 400 PPM and 5.2 PH. Highs are 475 PPM and 5.8 PH. Lows 340 PPM and 4.8 PH.

When I mix nutrients, should I adjust PPM with only Micro/Grow/Bloom?? I usually add everything which includes Diamond Nectar, Liquid Koolbloom, Floralicious plus, florablend, and flora nectar. They are one week into flower.

With previous grows I have seen the low PH, but usually insanely high PPM, as high as 2400 PPM in runoff.

The only thing I can think of is giving a feed of 1000 PPM and 7.0 PH. Then check runoff and adjust till I am getting runoff matching the feed.

One other thing I just thought about. Someone mentioned that GH nutes PH raises, and to wait 24 hours and adjust. Wondering if I should not do that. Then PH would be closer to normal.

This is one of a dozen reasons I hate coir.

I just mixed up a new batch of feed with just Micro/Grow/Bloom and the PPM was much lower. Beginning to think I should mix to 600 PPM or 1.2 EC, then mix in the other stuff.

Could Fusarium or some other disease be causing it? Some cuttings seem to have it and others do not. I wonder if the plants are really sick, and the cuts have it also. I am going to cut off all mangy growth on the new plants and see if the begin to grow normal. I just took some beautiful cuts from my new hydro plants. They look better than any coco plants I have ever grown.

I dont know if this is relevant because it only has been recorded in fruit trees but check into fire blight.

Once had some type of worm bore into the stem and shit inside there. Look at the core of your slice is it dark? F'n tic turds whew

Will try salvaging, by cutting off bad parts, but have some awesome hydro plants with insane healthy growth.
