Topping which strains does it help?

Hi, I have Sour Diesel, Ice, Grand Daddy Purple, White Rhino, Northern lights, Misty Mint, and Medijuana. Which ones will it increase yield. I have heard some varieties benefit(more bud) from cutting the top of and others it hurts. Thanks for your help.

from my experience topping helps pretty much all strains except perhaps hashplants like deep chunk. (thats providing you want to grow less plants and make them more bushy - if you are doing sog with lots of small plants then topping isnt a good idea)

98% of the strains I've ran benefited from being topped, and sometimes trained a bit.

Yeah... almost all strains. Some plants with a single cola growth pattern do not. Its also dependent on your setup. If you run a SOG type of setup then topping could prove counter productive. Also, you should ovoid topping autoflowering strains.
