Topping or lollypops? Remove fans or larf buds?

I'm doin an indoor grow in soil in a small space. I have will cfl bulbs and some home made LEDs. My plants are Dancehall and a Romulan grapefruit. I topped the romulan and am training her to produce many colas. One Dancehall is tall and Christmas tree shaped and gets light to the bottom branch. The other twomare 'afghan' looking if that's a term.? They have short squat structure with huge fans that hide the lower branches.
I am in the 3rdweek of 12/12 and they are getting some preflowers. Should I cut the big fans or the lower bud sights? Or both? Lol

3rd week of flowering is too late to top really. Training that way should be completed while in veg.

Plants look pretty nice. I would remove a few lower branches to reduce larf, then as the lower leafs begin to yellow in the last 3 weeks of flower pull them off.

I typically lollipop at week 4. And would do so with the plants pictured. Remove the lower fans which block air circulation first and then inspect. At which time i start with the centers with the intention to get light levels up to the lower half. Go slow and stop look.

Another tip is you should have cleaned out the crotch of the bottom branches. Nothing green. Besides the trunk should touch soil line not one leaf tip .

Ok I do that, I did bottom pruning and cut all fans that blocked flower sites.
