Hey friends,

Just curious... What sets a good grower apart from average growers? What sets a great grower apart from good growers, and who do you think is a great grower? Im talking growing proper healthy plants that produce dank. Standout people. Just like you get talented breeders, boxers, singers etc

I have seen some very talented growers here on IC. Who's work is mention-worthy?
Would one look at cup winners and their growers perhaps?

Not a serious topic, but one that I often wonder about being an end user myself as a lover of the plant. I often ask: "who grew this?"

Purple Frostbyte, Unclefishstick, josey whales, thirdcoast , mendo420, dankfrank, those are the ones off the top of my head. They all have mad skills. Sureshot666 is another, jackmayoffer(prolly doing the biggest and best things I've ever seen). Lots and lots of pro's on here.

Id say what makes a grower good tho is consistency. Weve all had killer batches, do it 12 times a year. Your kickin ass.

There's a ton of them here. Northern Farmer was always my favorite to watch. I believe he grew hash plant, but good god did that guy know how to use every lumen available.

IMO, the best ones hang out in the organics. The knowledge over there is insane.

The difference between a good grower and a great grower is the basics. Master the basics and repeat. Patience. Never have a closed mind. The hard part is not being lazy or cutting corners. Dial it in and repeat, listen to your plants.

The best grower is the one that takes time and teaches others. That whole "Teach a man to fish..." thing. Those are the people I respect most. There are many folks that match that description on this board, and I hope many more than that help out within their own community.

Anything else is just a pissing contest.

The best growers are the ones who know what to do when problems come up. They don't use chemicals either. They don't cut corners and they focus on quality being the number one factor. The best growers have a passion for what they are doing.

the best growers usually dont only grow cannabis, from my experience.
they love plants and started growing for themselves to have their own clean medicine.

i dont know them , but i am sure R.C Clarke and Sam Skunkman are excellent examples of top growers.

ive learned a great deal from them just by reading. imagine if they were ur buddies. lol
