Top colas' stems and leaves are a bit, excessive!

Is that stem growth normal 5 weeks into flowering? I've read somewhere about excessive light causing profuse stem growth. All the plants buds did the same thing just to a lesser degree. 2 inches instead of 6.

I'm also a little curious about those curious two leaf leaves?

What is the age of your plants?
4 Months, roughly

What Technique are you using?
Topped, overgrown.

What substrate/medium are you using?
4x4ft tray w/rockwool cubes in hydroton. Top fed 15min every 3 hours.

What is the Nutrient temperature?
68-72*F

What Nutrient's are you using?
PBP soil bloom, Calmag+, LK

What is the pH of the "Tank"?
~5.9

When was your last feeding change?
I just top up with mild solution to achieve 1.9ish and whatever pH.

What size bulb are you using?
600w

What is the distance to the canopy?
~12 inches

What is your RH Factor?
~40-70

What is the canopy temperature?
~82, warm

What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include flucutaion range)
70-78*F

What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.)
200 or so, room's ~8x6x7, every 2 minutes, good enough for me.

Is the fan blowing directly at plants?
underneath, towards the light.

Is your water HARD or SOFT?
ec .26, ppm ~185, pH, ~9.5

No pruning, cloning, topped at beginning of flowering.

doesnt look to bad, might be a little low on nitrogen. looks to me like a crazy breed, I done had some of those one leafers, was some good shit though. The stem looks healthy to me...

It looks like it's re-vegging to me...atleast thats what my plants have started to do and look similiar to... When they started to re-veg, they started growing single bladed leaves(with some growing into 3-5 bladed...but pretty much all new growth now are single-bladed) and the bud sites stretched like mad (Here's a pic, click here if you want to see my re-vegging plant)).

Gnarly. The timer for the light got turned forward something like 4 hours for a day or two before i noticed, thought my light burnt out. Then my light did burn out and my local store doesn't have agrosun red's in stock. Argh.

This bagseed has proven to be pretty diverse. That diversity and the 1 month veg has made for a FUN and EDUCATIONAL hobby. I'll even update my gallery, ha!

I have similar issues. It also seems to happen more to the main buds directly under the light. I'm moving my light higher to see if that works. Have you resolved the issue? Thanks!

looks fine... probably a sativa or with sativa genetics. Let it grow unless you see any major problems. They'll fill out.

BTW, why are you using PB Bloom soil in a hydro set up?
