Top Cola Not as Mature

I have never had this happen, usually the main cola starts to take on the finished appearance and starts to tighten up.

The strain is Cookies, Soil fox farms, 400w

I am day 67 now, and the main cola is still fox tailing new growth, the lower buds are my ideal version of finishing nugs.

I already harvested the lower buds, should I just harvest this top nugg so that stress does not cause a Hermi, or should I wait another week or two?

A picture would help.
If it is not done, it is not done. Unless it finished and is now regrowing, then it is over done.
Useless advice I know but that is all I got.

Take a look at the trichomes under magnification...that should tell you for sure.

Yes hard to say without a picture, it may be a bumper harvest if so the best thing to do is to take a look at the trichs as advised by robrites and harvest the buds that are ready and let the main bud end the blooming process.

Don't know if there is anything that you can do to stop the process ...

Sounds like the top cola might be foxtailing so it can breath...how far's the light from her? 67 days on cookies you could probably take her down.

if your harvesting by hairs then I have found lower buds to form orange hairs faster, probably to do with the plant focusing more energy on the tops than the lower nuggets, therefore you dont see as many white hairs down there, as you do up there (god I ramble lol)
