I just went on the Toolband website, and it says they are going to touring this summer. Thats the best new Ive heard all year.

I saw them last year at the US bank arena in Cincinnati. The band was awesome, the light show was great, but the real kicker was the dueling drums with Danny and the opener's (who I missed) drummer.

Im just waiting to see what the tour dates are from the toolband website. Ive seen them 6 times and it just gets better and better everytime.

They seem to tour the states alot more then around where im from,hoping they come around again or it's road trip time.

Great news...I've seen em on the Aenima tour, twice on the Lateralus tour and twice on the 10,000 days tours.....Paid $225 a seat to see them on the "small venue" opening tour for 10,000 days at The Orpheum Theatre in Beantown...UN-Fucking real, intimate show....

Honestly though, I would have rather been told that they were recording...And touring the year after...

I got a Pushit at the last show....felt like a special gift..

I want a ticks and leeches as my special gift.

Pushit, slower version? well both versions are amazing.

It would be nice if they were recording but I hear they a writing seriously so hopefully not much longer.

ya i would also rather have them be recording rather than touring....

I saw them both nights they came to san diego last time, the 2nd night they hooked it up with Pushit.. I wish i could find a video, or audio recording from that show...
I have never heard maynard sing with more emotion, than he did during pushit that night.
It was the aenima pushit, not the salival pushit(live)

I know I wont get my wish, you can count on one hand how many times they've played tickes and leeches live. The Grudge is a killer tune for sure, love the ending.....Crazy.

I have no problem seeing them live, they will come out with a new album when they are ready, I wouldn't want to rush it. Im glad they take 4 or so years to make an album, not like pretty much all the garbage on main stream radio, coming out with an album 1 or twice a year. 2 - 3 minute songs..........F$&% that.

Can't wait to see them, you guys hear the new solo's in Schism and Parabola, absolutely killer. Im a drummer, so danny carey is my Idle(obviously by my handle name).

i almost remember reading somewhere Maynard saying he will never perform ticks and leeches live again cause of the strain it causes on his voice

I'll be praying for a Salival Pushit this go around. Maybe they'll stop in Indy last and decide that it would be a great time to do Ticks and Leaches for the first time ever :-D.

As far as I know, the only time they've EVER performed it was for the sound crew during the recording of Lateralus. I could be wrong though.

I know of at least once, I have a bootleg of like 13 shows from 92 at babyhead to The second last lateralus show, nothing yet from the 10,000 days album unfortunately.

Ill see if I can find it on youtube.........Ill post it up if I can. It was in Ft Lauderdale but can't remember the date.

This is up close and personal, with a short interview with Danny with his Paiste drum kit made out of boiled down Paiste cymbals.....Very unique intstrument.

i saw tool a cpl times once on shrooms...i sat w/ my head in my hands the whole show. (mammoth in colorado)

then saw them at pepsi center in colorado and missed 95% of the show cuz a punk ass security guard tried to say i was doin coke when i was throwing up in the lobby from cig. smoke (im alergic to tobacco smoke)...

the cops knew it, and mr security got in trouble for saying that shit and we got a shitload of tickets to games that we never went to.
