Too much rep on posts in thread limit?

Anyone else need to be able to give more rep points? Ridiculous, maxed out sometime last night for the first time. Now I can only throw out like 1 per hour or so...? I did what I felt was a moderate search for insight pre existing but found nothing. Am I using ICmag too much? Haha

Thank you for responding Skip! Is the reset at midnight? Or if I wake up at 11pm and dump out 19 rep votes, would I only have 1 more vote until 11pm the next day? Any extra details would be appreciated!

I use a lot of message boards, but none of them do anything with reputation points. What's the purpose of these points anyway? Is it like facebook likes or sommat?
