my thoughts.... 1)MORE INFO: Veg or flower... 2)the soil will slowly adjust 3) if in veg you can foliar feed with low strengh nute solution for quick intake by your plants.

Add pure sulfur to lower the ph. You can get it at a garden center/store. 3/4 teaspoon per gallon of soil mix. Sprinkle on top and water in. Ph will drop rapidly. Optimum ph in promix is 5.6 to 6.2

Sigh... people give out wrong information all the time...but some poeple just have no luck with promix, kind of like coco. I hated promix, it just gave me crap results... OC soil and theres nothing too it, why make it harder than it is ya know???

But ah well each to his own.

Well first is it powdered lime? Because if it is, you should be using 2-3 TEASPOONS per gallon. The powdered is much more concentraded and about 3x faster acting, it'll hit your plants big time. Sprinkle 1/4 teapsoon each day or every other day (4-8 days in all) until the full 2-3 teaspoons has been added. Those are just my incriments, I am sure there are others that will work...

2 table spoons are for the pelleted lime... you mix these 'granuels' in the soil and they slowly react... so you can apply the full amount all at once. If you try to add all the powdered lime at once you'll get it all building up on the top of the soil....

I see sproutco is back and giving shit information again.

Dont use sulfer to lower your ph unless you want some serious problems later.

pro mix bx and hp are the commonly found mixes you will find at aa garden supply center. the main difference between the two is that bx has vermiculite and hp doesn't.
they both come with dolmite added along with a seed starter nute. i tend to not like vermiculite with weed. stays too wet for me.
the nature of peatmoss is to go to the acid side of ph. if you grow with pro mix you of have to figure out the ph of your water and your ph of water with ferts added. i plain water every third time. i run an outflow ph of 5.8>5.9 in veg and 6.1>6.2 in flower. i use chem nutes which tend too run acidic also so i adjust accordingly whether i'm ferting or jsut water. i usually water with an adjusted water of 6.5>6.8 to get those numbers.
when changing to flower i will sprinkle 2-3 tbs dolomite on top of the medium and water through. that amount of buffer will usually get me thru to the end. maybe a tsp of epsom durind flower if i see a deficiency.
the thing i like about promix is that what yuo see is what you get basically. you are in control of your medium.
soil is more forgiving. promix is cheaper.

I wouldn't dick around with adding things to the soil to straighten it out. I had a similar problem. Go buy you some good soil like Fox Farm or All-Mix from Bio-Bizz. And repot the plants. Gently shake off any old dirt and repot them in a little larger pot(if they are full of roots) than they are in now with the new soil.

If you don't want to do that. Mix up a mild nute solution ph'd to 6.0 and keep pouring that through the soil until the run-off reads right. It may take alot to do this.

Your best bet is to repot.
