too little resin production

I grow with a 1k hps and for some reason i didnt get too much resin ,these plant were from seed. i was wondering if i have a heat issue because i dont use an exhaust for the room , how much does heat play in resin production anyway please help me ? thanks in advance

I would say that heat is most def your issue... Is that ambient heat or at the canopy? Cause if that's ambient then your canopy is probably like 115.

I have seen minimal resin production from deficient plants too.

Without exhaust Im guessing the humidity is always fairly high too, drop that down and resin production will increase if the plant is a resiny type. Imo resin is probably 75% genetics and 25% environment. Pretty sweet when you get close to that 100%.

lower humidity has a better resin production and yes that heat is way to high you should not go over 80 F

also strain has a deal with how much resin it produces as well so its enviroment and strain deal

you will definatly need to get a ventlation system going
do you have any ventalation going?
also your plants need fresh air without fresh air your grows will be no where near as good and im sure fresh air depleates resin prodcution too

i got a big fan from Wally World to pull hot air out of the space , i do have a window open since my plant dont smell as much under the Hps as they do under the floros..and I dont know why is that , maybe the heat as well??
