too late to scrog?

ok so I have access to a few mother plants from a friend I ran into this am.. I was talking to him told him my situation..

and we worked out a pretty sweet deal.. im going to give him 22 strains in clone form.. and 50 seeds of each cross I make at his place...

to use his ex roomates bedroom for a 2000w scrog.. basicly im not doing anything besides covering the door to the room hanging the 2 lights .. setting up exhaust.. tossin the ac in the window.. basicly a quick Temporary Flower Room. I have access to up to 20 plants ranging from 4-6 feet tall .. the room id be using isn't very tall maybe 8.5 ft tall.. so wat I was thinking.. can I toss a screen up.. bring 1 plant in at a time.. basicly fold the plant down and train some of the plant up threw the screen.. fill as much as I can with the plants I have access to.. Veg them for another 2 weeks or so to fill the screen up.. and flower them bitches.

he thinks its way to late.. some of these things are pretty huge.. and since he used them to make clones and shit for his SOG. there kinda Lollipopped.. would I be better of tossing a sCreen up.. or just start LST training each plant now instead..

I was thinking the strain because I have a feeling if I don't use a screen theres a few OGS that get lanky and will flop around.. but if its to late its to late. they have been in 12.12 for 1 night now. as of yesterday.. should I just toss them back onto 18.6 n fill the screen out to get the best harvest or no?

basicly.. I am giving im clones.. seeds.. money for my lights for electric.. and 1/4th of the harvest. sooo the bigger the harvest the better.. and I don't have much time to veg because I need to get these things flowering asap for financial purposes.

another thing.. the screen would have to be stapled to the walls.. around the room. I wont have time to make a frame and have it so it can go up and down if needed.. it will have to stay were it Is until harvest time.

i think im just going to trellis half the room . run half a scrog half a LST training program on these bitches and flip in 2-4 weeks depending how quickly they fill out the screen

scrog is SCReen Of Green. it's where you stretch your plants out on horizontal trellises to get a nice even canopy.

BG—i'm guessing you have standard 8 ft. ceilings, so 4-6 feet is pretty damn tall to be threading through a trellis, especially when you allow for the headroom you lose with the lights and the fact that they are still going to stretch when you flip them. i suppose you could prune to shorten them some. crushing the stems to bend them where you like could be a solution as well.

long as you're going to hang your netting, why not take the extra hour and do it up proper? i can't figure how you would just tack it to the wall and still be able to move around the room to work with the plants.

it's nothing special, but here's the trelisses i hung from the ceiling in my bloom room. they work pretty well. i like that the height is easy to adjust also.
