I am in minnesota and wondering if it is too late to still put plants out? I only have plants that are a couple weeks old and wondering if it would even be worth it? Thanks for any input!

yeah it will be worth it...it's always worth it...u might not get monster yields but depending on strain u could still get 2-3 oz per plant but you can't wait any longer...if your gonna do it do it now.

mr kief: it is not too late. they wont get big but you could wind up with some nice frosty purple bud to lull you into winter. insulate with a leaf mulch--it cant keep the snow off but it helps in many ways. good luck.

It all depends on how late your summer(or warm weather) runs. Here we get sunshine and high temps( 80+) all the way into the third week of November so anything started in may or early June has a good chance of finishing.

The difference in starting them early and late is plant size and yield. It's actually not a bad thing to put plant out late because they are alittle smaller and less detectable. Don't get me wrong I'd rather plant early in the year and have a tree of buds but some places it's hard to do that. Some got to stick to the stealth side. I would be happy with a small outdoor plant yielding a few ounces of primo smoke. It would be enough to last until you start harvesting indoors. I just started some Blue Streak beans for the outdoors. They are autoflower and will finish in a few months. I'm going to put them outside when they show sex (2-3 weeks). They should stay short and flower right away. All I'm looking for is a nice little outdoor harvest for the end of the summer. I'll probally be looking at around 7-28 grams on a plant. Nothing special but enough personal smokage for me until it's indoor time come the fall.

Hide Your Bud the longest part of the day has already came and gone here in VA. That means the dayz our getting shorter. So they wount get big but u can always just start em indoors until there like a couple feet tall and then put them out. :pimp3:

Damnit!....well..I have a plant hardend off and ready so I'll put it in the ground...

After writing that, I looked up and saw that my cat had eaten some leaves off of my plant. Time to get this thing in the ground.

Get them in the ground there is still plenty of time to yield some nice bud.

I just hiked for 2hrs to find that I was only able to get about 25' from my spot. There is a small stream between me and the plant and it is now a very big one. I'll try again when the rain stops.
