DC X Uzbeki F1
The Uzbekistan was posted with this trait a couple posts ago. The DC is line bred which aligns with quite a few of the examples given so far across different regions.

Most of these seem to relate to a meristem mutation. I am trying to think of a part of the plant that it does not occur...

Some are very uniques. I have not had the under branch location on my current lines, but there is the potential to become more Targeted.

Using your picture. In the Alpine haze 1.0. 90%+ had meristem mutations, but only one of ~140 had these little dormant sprigs turn into full blow golden ratio fan leaves. I only popped 5 seed from that plant which had the other mutations and 2 had this added trait. That is a 100% or more increase. Obviously I didn't run enough numbers for any meaningful documentation but it doubled within a fraction of the amount.

All of it is still a shotgun approach. But there is something to all of this. At the very least it helps pass the time with a fun show watching a haze flower for 3-4 months. I never really know what might pop up next.

I was hangry at earlier. Doing better now😂

Looking for thoughts on those experienced with SE Asian/Thai accessions.

A close friend of mine goes to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia etc for about half of every year studying with monks and the martial arts.

A couple years ago I asked him to start collecting seed on his backcountry routes and dropping pins.

I noticed that the Outback Haze's in Dwight's collection have very dark petiole stems. This is not something I noticed in the bills or other 5haze, but now see it in this Thai as well

Wondering what a Thai aficionado sees in this one? I'll be getting together later this week to hang out learn more and go through collections. Hopefully more pictures as well

Well this was gathered in Thailand. I am not saying that Thai do btw. Just a question. So all of Thailand is identical in this way?

I thought maybe there would be different biomes or tribes that would have different collections. Etc. maybe it's Laos or Cambodian influence. In any event it's very similar to both of the Outbacks. Not something I noticed in haze. I'll post better pictures.✌️

What you find in Thailand now is very different to what you found in Thailand even in the early 90s most Thai lines are a shadow of what they once were.

A lot of Dutch lines were bred into the Thai lines, then a few years back you had 1 million high CBD clones passed out by the government to add insult to injury.

You want Runtz or Cookies Thailand now the place to find them.

Reminds me of Alice’s Restaurant when Arlo encourages anyone going in for an induction physical to say to the shrink “I wanna kill” and that if enough people do it, “they may think it’s a movement”

I would join you both on this journey but would need to find a new home first…..

Kudos to you both!!

I ran only15 THH this spring and got 8 females. I started 99 various seedlings in May and gave away 50 or more.

I did tell sticky of my struggle to keep them all alive this summer (only 50!!) I know I neglected some seed he generously shared with me 🙁 but he’s always encouraging me!!!

I had to cut way back my time lurking here while trimming but THIS is something else. I cannot wait for the updates and the great photos.

I am following along and excited to see this “explosive and vigorous growth” lol
