Happened upon a pack of original Tom Hill's Haze P1 stock. LED and Organic amended soil. 100% germination. LST'd. 1 plant was a runt that made it up after 2 weeks and is behind the rest but bounced back under hps. 1 we think was a Deep Chunk. No big deal but I did cull it. I have a pack of DC and not running any Indica, I know DC stays short so it wouldn't have gotten much light anyway and I'd rather have the space for something else. 2 OHz reveg'd going along side. 4 Girls and 4 Males and the runt is unsexed in 18/6. Pull males today pics may not reflect that.

I will have to check but I think they are 2 or 3 weeks in on 12/12.

I'm wondering about the skinniest leaved girl in the middle of that pic with males removed. I added a bit of blood meal, epsom and pulverized dolomite lime about a week ago and its still light green yet normal and darker on leaf edges? The rest are perfect dark green and no signs of issues, fingers crossed.

Guess I will make note of my soil mix here. I did find it initially to be hot after up potting my c99 mom finally checked runoff and was 4.5ec or more. I haven't used soil much less amended in a very long time. I have been cutting it with store bought promix in a 2cuft compressed bale. I also used that instead of HP as it was super cheap and readily available.

I based this recipe off of LC's mix and combined the blood meal/guano recipes while taking care to reduce the (N) content in hopes it would help reduce issues with long flowering plants. I haven't tested runoff since cutting the recipe but will try to update that next watering.

Tribes Organic Sativa Soil Recipe
Pro Mix 2 cuft
Worm Castings (same as LC mix didn't notate it here)
Perlite enough to bring to ~10-15%
Dolomite lime 1c/cuft
Blood meal 1/4c/cuft
Mexican Bat Guano (N) 2 cups total
Alfalfa meal 1cup total
Bone Meal 1/2 c/cuft
Indonesian Bat Guano (P) 2 cups total
Mycoz 1/2 cup total
Kelp Meal 1/2 c/cuft
Epsom Salt 3/4 cup total
Azomite 1/2 cup total
Watered with 2 tsp/gal LK and cooked for 6 weeks turning daily first week then not much. I overwatered after a few weeks just trying to keep it moist and the visible bacteria on the top disappeared but returned after it dried back out a bit. Smell was strong at first but after 2 weeks it seemed like it turned to low smell coparably.

I added 50% Pro Mix before using which has yet to cause major issues and growth is doing amazing and better than expected.

I have been feeding tap water and some LK.

Looks like a good start LostTribe! Going to be interesting to see how they develop

2 of the 4 are just starting to show resin pics at this point would still be underwhelming but expect them to start taking off as they are at 4.5 weeks now. They grow very similar to the other Ohaze structurally.

The runt showed male. Not sure I'll keep him around as the others are well into bloom and I've removed a few tops and placed in a glass of water to collect some. I did try to pollenate both the THH and Todd with a mix of the pollen using a small paint brush.

Always a good idea to separate potential pollen sources and equally good idea to collect some pollen and dust a branch or two. Don’t give up on that runt just yet, looks cute hehe

After reading a lot of Tom Hill's thoughtful posts in his own RIP thread I decided to go ahead and collect all the pollen together for now. I hope to run out the runt too. Space is limited so not sure I have enough time to properly test the males individually.

I did pollenate the lowers on all 4 THH and the 2 Todd Ohaze. I think I will start referring to Todd's as TMH for simplicity. The TMH #1 jade green stretchy fruity sparkling grape plant didn't stretch bad at all with the LST I did. The TMH #2 purple oily earthy herbal one couldn't care less how much I tied her down she laughed at me and just kept on streching but I haven't had to super crop her yet.

I did have to bend over the 3 tall THH ladies. Super cropped all 3 main colas, and the LST didn't stop or really help the stretch. The 1 other THH has stayed much shorter than the other 3 but still looks quite similar. Resin is just starting to flow on all of them.

Cheers

Sounds like you’ve got some fun time ahead and those females sound interesting too. Keeping separate pollen sources separate can be hell so your choice of mixing the ones you select would also work and then you won’t need to second guess if any of the other pollen sources ”contaminated” the branches of each male etc. I bet you’ll have fun growing out the progeny of those males and females too. I would imagine some of them wouldn’t really get hindered too much by training but it sure helps a bit on those taller expressions. Super cropping has been a good friend to me too at times when head-room is getting smaller and smaller from the stretch, lol. Keep fighting and you’ll end up with some magical smoke I am sure. Cheers!

really interested in seeing how these turn out after you found that little fatty WLD in your pack , subbed

We sort of came to the conclusion it had to be a DC or the other TH indica x18?? cant recall. Wouldn't have gotten tall enough to get any light so it was culled. Chimera offered to replace but its not that big a deal. The rest have narrower leaves than the TMOHaze and so far the smells are similar but still just starting to develop. TMOHaze smells changed for the better closer to finish.

Well, all this talk about OHaze.

Cheers!

I received the DC freebie from BR as well, I got 8 seeds
Out of the 8; 3 of them showed roots but only one made it to be a plant. The other 2 didnt come up and the rest didnt show life at all
This is the lucky seed that made it, it is a girl, I crossed it with Ohz 90s from MadMac and I hope to be able to cross it with THH and Seedsman Hz
