Sad day indeed. It's tough to lose one of your kids let alone 2. At least you know they are flying again now.

Marimbas, I personally want to thank you dearly for sharing such a tragic loss with your IC Family. Birds are supremely unique and way above us ground creatures. I raised Scarlett Macaws, and an injured Red Tail Hawk, Athens, Georgia. I remember Nana and Papa's parakeets with personalities that were granted noble family membership with a name included..................I really miss my birds! I'll cry for both of us!..........I had real adventures with Skipper, my female Scarlett Mawcaw,......she was raised as a male because ignorrance ruled the land one time. She had the Oscar for imtimidation, and the bond for me, that is characteristic in rare birds. Kings used to have Macaws as their own guard dog/bird because of their viscious one on one bond relationship..........that's natures love for real....imo........love you all!

Thank you guys you really make me feel better.... Im very worried that my other 2 die, the other 2 are a fem and a male, the female is named Blondy, and the male Mustard.
I think i suck at naming birds, but anyways im really woried its a bacteria or something and they get sick and die... so if you can send good vibes to my other 2 canaries i will seriously appreciate...

(You have no idea, what good vibes can do)...

Wait a minute marimbas........canary fever.......look, there are bird veternarians that are sub clinics to well known vets. These bird vets specialize in exotic animals. Look up the nearest pet emergency clinic in your area! Birds, because of their feathers, can mask/hide their illness until it's too late. I know that one for sure. Aviarists? seek help now!!

Birds die for a reason. They are very healthy creatures, and are the first to detect an unhealthy condition. It can be enviormental stress, poor health conditions. It takes alot to kill a bird. Poison is fast acting.

Sorry for your loss : ( I would get the other kiddies checked out ASAP! Sounds like a disease may be running around with 2 in the past few weeks. I think that's more than ironic. I hope they're alright!

Ponics.

Hey Marimbas

Very sorry for your loss.... painful indeed

Possible their home needs a good cleaning and disinfecting.... couldnt hurt

If you need or are interested can hook you up with a great bird store in Los Angeles for medical advise, birds, toys, etc.... I know these guys for more than 30 years and they are excellent

I have a yellow nape amazon ... user name ... beautiful girl.... she is sitting with me now as I write this... and I love her so very, very much....

We are together 30 years now... bought her when she was just a pup..... and a fantastic and wonderful companion indeed....

Just like a perpetual 4 1/2 year old... and she owns me .... big responsiblity .... but will do all to make sure she is secure and happy

Head up.... you gave the best and did your very best ....

We can only hope that we will all one day be reunited with our families, pets and friends who we all have loved, and continue to love so very much

Head up.... and

All very best regards

Sundance
