i make my own. grew a huge patch of N. rustica (also a great, extremely potent smoke)

adding a soap/surfactant to the mixture if it doesn't have one helps to penetrate the bugs exo-skeleton and kill it. it works on most bugs, but i know some (aphids, grasshoppers) arent affected by it (they eat the plants). its wroth a try, pretty cheap if you smoke too cause you can use the old filters but its best to get a clean tobacco IMO. if you need some let me know. and be very careful when applying! dont get it on you! i got some of my stuff on my when i was spraying it one (turns out the bottle leaked like all hell and i didnt realize...i was very dizzy for about 45 mins, couldnt do much but let it wear off)

continuous applictions also help, and im sure mixing it w/neem or other things will help, but i have found it to work (not on ganja, but other plants)

arright thanks sheriff i already mixed up a batch and its sitting soakingup the juices. what type of soap should i use and i used some newport tobacco and some dutchmaster tobacco i dont kno if it has a good enuf amount of nicotine but hope it works. gonna try it on 1 or 2 forst and it the plants dont die ill do them all again.

wops, forgot about this thread. I think dish soap should be alright (so long as it is just saop, unscented, no anti-bacterial shit or lotions), i am unaware of any special soaps for applying to plants, but there might be something. I dont know the amts for N. tabacum but with rustica (since it is so much more potent) i used just a few grams for a liter or so of the stuff. soak it in the sun for a day or two or cook it up for 20 mins on the stove.

oh damn i was going by a completely different rescepie for it
it was

Protection Offered: Nicotine is effective against ground and soil pests, especially root aphids and fungus gnats, and on many leaf-chewing insects, such as aphids, immature scales, leafhoppers, thrips, leafminers, beetle larvae.
How To Make: You can brew your own batch of nicotine tea by soaking tobacco leaves or cigarette butts in water to make a spray. Soak 1 cup of dried, crushed tobacco leaves, or an equivalent amount of cigarette butts, in one gallon of warm water with 1/4 teaspoon pure soap added. Strain the mixture through cheesecloth after it has soaked for 1/2 hour. The solution will keep for several weeks if stored in a tightly closed container.
How to Use: For soil pests, pour the spray mixture onto the soil in the area of the stem base and root zone. For leaf pests, spray leaves thoroughly, especially the undersides. Nicotine can be absorbed by plant leaves and remain there for several weeks. For this reason, it should not be used on edible plants.

but i soaked it for 4 hrs cuz i read something else that sain overnight so i went in between.

I've done it reefa... it's some nasty smelly junk. For what it's worth it did not harm the plants.

Who knows if it worked as I was using a neem based spray, a chem based spray, the tobacco juice, and a no pest strip in the same room. Hitting the bugs with multiple's. I'd use one spray every other day, and kept changing it up on them.

My lady made a bottle to bring to work and use on the plants in the office and said it worked well.

I heard that some tobacco carry a virus that can kill your plants.

there is the tobacco mosaic virus, but i dont believe that can infect ganja, and the material you get wont be infected with it anyways (unless somehow its dormant in there or the company did a bad job with their crop)

nvm, TBM can infect cannabis. cook up the material on the stove, to make sure.

The use of tobacco products during cultural practices should be avoided to prevent inoculation of plants with the tobacco mosaic virus. Those people using tobacco or working with infected plant material should wash their hands thoroughly in soapy water before handling your plants.

how late does this work into flower? Will it work on spidermites?

Also, what about regular tobacco smoke? Will that kill pests? I was thinking about burning an ounce or two of tobacco without any fans on, but the tobacco juice might be better? Has anyone tried smoking the bugs to death?

never tried it with tobacco b4 sometimes i smoke out the plants with bud. i believe it helps in some kinda way.lol

i wouldnt spray on the buds during flowering nicotine is poisonous to us 2. but i dont kno 4 sure.
