I'm building some sealed rooms and I want some opinions on if it would be more energy efficient to insulate or not to insulate. I'm going to run co2 with temps between 82 and 84 lights on and 75 lights off. I live in a cold climate where the average tenp in July is 75 degrees. I am running mini splits that will cool during lights on and have to heat during lights off. During the winter I'm probably going to shut off the cooling and just run active air exchange. Since outsidemy room it will likely always be colder than 82 degrees it would seem beneficial to not insulate however I'm thinking it might end up hurting me in the grand scheme of things due to the cost of keeping it heated lights off. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
