TITAN ARES 8 BURNER LP CO2 GEN. QUESTION

The Propane regulator & hose that came w/ my burner has no markings on it whatsoever, or any where in any of the documentation that came with that says what size the fittings are!. The 12' length of hose that came with the generator doesn't even make it to the side of my wall. Unless I want to hang my tank from the ceiling too (which I dont) I need a hose extension. but there are 1,000,000 different sizes. Called Titan customer service, no answer for several hours just the obligatory leave a message. So where does TITAN hide this top secret, eyes only, super technical information??!

Thanks,
Dutch

The hose size is 3/8" and use brass fittings. You can order an extension length on Amazon. Just type in propane extension hose. Some of the connections are flare fittings and some are pipe thread depending on what hose you buy. Just make sure you use the correct fittings to make sure you don't have any leaks. I use a propane tank gauge connected directly to my tank to test for leaks. Connect everything up and purge the line by turning the burner on and let it run for few seconds after in ignites. Then shut the burner off and close the valve to the tank. Then check you gauge on the tank to see if you are losing pressure. If its a small leak it might take a couple hours to notice if it is leaking.
You can do the soap and water test if you don't want to buy a propane tank gauge but it is much less reliable and can be hard to tell if you have a slow leak sometimes.
Hope this helps! Have a good one

I have a question about this burner i was hoping someone may be able to answer, I am going to be using this burner in a smaller sized room than i should and want to plug up 6 of the 8 burners with brass plugs, would this be possible/safe?

dunno, why would you plug them? the more burners the faster you reach optimal co2 levels, the heat is the same running 8 burners for a short amount vs 2 burners for a longer duration

well the reason i ask is because the plants were basically busy dieing , going yellow and droopy .. so i was thinking its because the unit is making too much ethylene or carbon monoxide or something for the amount of space i am using , the unit is rated for 25 foot x 25 room and i am in a 10x10 foot room. tried putting it off and plants got better , then tried runn lower ppm's like 700-800 and they fucked out again. So now i put it off till i can figure out whatsup.
