Never been to northern Cali, only Socal. I decided i'm going to be taking a little road trip to Sacramento/Fair Oaks/Chico to visit a friend who just bought a house and a few girls I know...i'm going to be out there for about a week, then i'm spending a few days in San Fransisco, and driving up to Arcata to visit various childhood friends who live out there. Like I said, i've never been to any of these areas, and i'm pretty excited to take a vacation and enjoy myself.

I'd really appreciate any advice...looking for cool places to eat, bars/clubs/nightlife, cool attractions, maybe some trails to hike, places to canoe, skateparks, anything interesting! I'll be out there in a week, it sucks cause I don't have much meds until my paycheck and I don't get that until next Friday...hopefully my friends have the hookup!:thank you:

Sacramento: Mid Town Specialties, Capitol Wellness, the areas south of the city (Galt and further) has some great wineries that do tours and extensive tastings.

SF: Escape from NY pizza (end of haight, past Vapor Room and AHHS, if you see the McDonalds where everyone is going to the bathroom you went too far), AHHS for serious herb and good deals, or at least it was the place in my day, even if you're cardless I believe there is a guest program for tourists these days, and if all else fails the dispensaries on Haight tend to have cardholders hanging around outside for a couple blocks who let people hit them up.

Didn't go out to many restaurants in SF/Sac...mostly ate at people's houses or grabbed in-n-out...traffic wasn't as bad as socal or Miami, but it was worse than everbody made it out to be. Took me 2 hrs to go to a dispensary and back.

Went to Mazzotti's...the farmer's market was amazing, all the restaurants were. I went to a restaurant in Eureka called the Ritz...the thai money bags an asian glaze wings were seriously some of the best i've ever had. The bar scene out in Arcata is funny...hippies, nomads, cartel-lookin mofos, wiggers, thugs, cali hicks, all rolled into one...lol definitely saw some dude dressed like they were straight out of clown college.

Got to see some awesome scenery, meet great people, eat great food, smoke great weed/hash...going again in a few weeks!
