Tips for a good picture

I am New to a digital camera & taking pict's of cannabis / what are your tips for geting a good picture.

For a starter = I bought a Kodak 4 MP CX7430 = it will work as a first step =

A one step in the room very first pitc. without reading the manual = it will take a much better picture


That's Chuck my security in the background & the plant on the left is a 6ft Arian's Haze - SD bx1's & H.Snow in there as well (Confession - I have not been labeling my plants & may have a few of them mixed up & 2 of them are a mistery to me what they are = they are the 2 fat ones & look great though )

My room has 2 430 HPS - 2 150 CFL's & 3 - 2/40watt-flors

ps. I will get a tripod tomorrow

Excellent work Fred. A tripod is essential for good pictures. It will allow you to use a slower shutter speed and higher f/stop to get better resolution and focus! Keep the pics coming! OH

ps.They all just had a heavy water & few of thoes i was broke & had no nuets / the AHaze is the only one thay got away from me - but sits in the middle of the 2 430's & has 2 = 150 wtt - cfs's over top of it / who knows what day any of them are on - I don't keep track

I have a veg closet full of once toped plants & just started 10 Sensi Stars

you gotta get bending and breaking so you can maximize the lights. If you top, bend and break you can increase those yeilds buddy...and from the looks of style.... ....and the health of those girls.....that'd be a nice thing all around Later OH

They are just now geting fixed due to no nuets / I am going to order some 'Cal-mag' - they need a shot of some inmobile's
(flower room is closed for the night - I will get some good main cola picts yet)

Fredster, that haze is going to be an absoulute MONSTER by the time she finishes:jawdrop: Better start labeling those buckets tho, ya get a keeper it'd be nice to know what ya wanna grow again!! Nice camera, and that's in my price range too. How are the macros and the white balance?
