Tiny white dots on clones

Just got 6 purple kush clones for my second grow, they have some really weird white spots on the lower leaves, i think its either thrips or mites, but i'd appreciate any opinions or confirmation. The plants are still smallish so i was able to give them a cursory inspection, nothing moving on them but i'm still in veg for 2 more weeks and so now's my window to kill anything bad. Thanks in advance.

looks like mites to me too. Check thoroughly under the leaves. pretty sure you'll find some!

Eww, yea, sorry dude, you got mites. I effing hate mites more than any other bug, closely followed by slugs. I have used neem oil on vegging plants with mites to good effect. Sponging the undersides of the leafs so you crush the mites and eggs works well. Dip the sponge in diluted neem before hand, then spray afterward. If you get them in flower, cx spray safe is good stuff.

Best mite destroyer i've found though is lowering temps. They like the heat, and breed real fast in warm temps. Their breeding slows right down in temsp under 24C or so, and then the sponging and spraying really can work well. I've succesfully got rid of mites in veg like that. Never been able to rid myself of them in flower though without stopping the entire grow, taking it down and disinfecting it all.

Good luck man.

i really appreciate all the replies and advice, i have some floramite here so i plan on spraying them to kingdom come with it, i also have a no pest strip as well so i plan on doing a little double floramite/no pest strip action to get rid of them once and for all. Thanks again.

floramite will do the job. Watch out with no pest strips as they content dichlorvos, which is very bad for your health.
