Timer question

Is there a standard timer everyone uses? I've been researching on Amazon and a lot of people are commenting that the timers there lose an hour every few days.

I'm going into veg time soon and I really need a reliable timer. Any suggestions on which works the best?

I use a aquatic timer that is all digital about 35 bucks but totaly worth it. You can pick up at almost any pet/fish store. I had some problems when trying to program multiple things with it but i now only have my light on the timer plug and just use the other four as a power strip.

I have seen the same timer but all black for house hold use at home depot too.

any 3 prong heavy duty timer from walmart will work. avoid intermatic timers from lowes and timers with "security" features that randomize on/off times by 15 minutes....these timers suck! if running hid lights don't use more than one lighting system on a cheap timer

intermatic. all the cheap digital timers i have had failed. intermatic is very reliable
