Timer Failure - What Happens Now?

I found out today that my timer had stopped turning off one of the lights in my growroom. This happened after the plants had been in 12/12 for a couple of weeks. What can I expect from this? A later harvest? Hermies? Stupid Timex timer.....

Probably both, depending on how long it was going on for

turns out fine im easy 2 please if i get baked its ok

Thanks for the replies so far. I'm gonna have to chalk this up to experience. It's my first grow - I expected to run into problems, and I sure as hell have - many self inflicted. Like most things I'm new at, I get better after a few attempts.

Hey man,live and learn.About how long was it on for?Are the other plants far from this light source or did the light cover all your plants?

I had a timer fail in 12/12 and I had hermies, late harvest and one huge fuggin nitemare

pretty much. I just harvested one of my hermie plants, pain in the fucking ass to try to get all the seeds. Got about 200... Try to get them as early as pssible. Decent sized plant only ended up yielding about 18 grams or so.

shit does indeed happen. im pretty sure I had a timex timer too

A few days... not exactly sure how many. I normally don't go down there during the "night". It was a CFL sidelight, kind of like one of those bathroom vanity things, but homemade. It's a small space, so the plants furthest from the light were only about 3 feet away. Plenty of light to confuse them, me thinks.
