Hi folks,

Just after initating flowering, my timer forgot to switch off, so it's been in 24 hours light so far. The question is how I should get back to 12/12 without stressing the plant too much (don't really want a hermie).

Thx and Peace

man if you just put them in there just go to a 12/12 schedule you shouldnt even have preflowers yet and it should be ok to just switch back to a12/12 cycle.

Thanks Blunted22, but preflowers already there, and wanted to ask if it's better to stick to the scheduled dark periods, or go dark right away

I'd just stick to the scheduled dark periods.

I have in the past changed from 9am on - 9pm off
to
9am off - 9am on

by leaving the lights off for 24 hours and then starting the new cycle - i.e. one day the lights whent off at 9pm and didn't come back on until 9pm the next day and then started doing 9pm-9am on.

They didn't hermie.

Hermies are caused by interuptions in the dark period like light leaks.

as long as you keep the dark period dark things should be fine
