time to experiment

I have recently started appreciating auto strains and experimenting into the wonderful world of autos.

I am currently doing a soil grow in 16l smart pots under 600w dual spec hps on a 18/6 light cycle.

The strains I am nurturing are auto kush and white diesel haze auto.

They are currently on week 3 and I have seen some explosive growth for the 1st 2 weeks but then hit some probs with over watering due to pot size but that is on the mend.

I will be giving regular updates and shooting the odd snap for you guys to see.

In the meantime please share your auto experiences including strains, overall yields and grow techniques.

Day 48 from seed....looks like this one is dominated by the ruderalis gene. At first I thought it was stunted as it was by far the shortest yet it is now developing way faster than the rest

Liking the buds. I am a couple days from starting my first auto's got some west coast og a g14 and kandy kush. Hopefully the new auto's can produce some real quality nugs

Let's put it this way...
Smells becoming a HUGE problem taking into account there's a new carbon filter and ona gel dashed around.

On the other hand both strains smell great and both very different. The diesel haze a hint of the soapy smell overpowered by the unique diesel smell. And the kush smells sweet and fruity at the minute but there is a mix of the distinct hindu kush smell in there

Cool I am doing an experiment also. I have an 4x4x8 ft cab I am putting a shelf in at 4 ft . I have been a vert guy for a few years. Going to hang 2 600 in the cab with 8 plants around each light. I don't know how the autos will do with the vertical lighting and the screen My goal is 2 zips per plant. So 2 # per run. .going to start under t5s. So hopefully I can pull 3 mabey 4 Harveys before the heat comes back in April. I got some freebies I may run outside next year. kind of a tall order with work, school and a family. But I guess I like the challenge.

Iv used 16l smart pots however in a 1.2x1.2m space i will probably only do 4 as they are getting really tightly squeezed in there
