Time between pruning and flowering?

I have some mature plants that I just pruned heavily (to reduce their size) that I would like to start flowering. Should I give them a chance to recover before flipping to 12/12? Or can I flip right away?

Apologies if this has been answered before - search doesn't appear to be working right now.

I just learned from a trusted source that I don't need to wait before flipping to 12/12. Flower time!

I just did this exact same thing with a Dinafem Super Silver the other day... I took it out of the veg cab, topped it to bring it down to size, and immediately put it into the flowering tent. So far so good...
