This game is being played in Eindhoven while im in AMS. There is a few websites that offer tickets for over double face value. I really want to go. Is it possible to get tickets while I am there? I am afraid it will be sold out. Are there "scalpers" outside of games (rogue ticket salesmen)?

Sounds awesome man, I'd love to see Ajax play in Amsterdam pufiing on a fatty.
I have no clue about the scalpers. I'd just pay a bit more to have it guaranteed or check ebay maybe?
Good luck

i have scalped tickets outside the A-rena (or however they call it) in amsterdam to see ajax...if u have scalped tickets in the states u can do it there, i didn't speak dutch either...as i remember it we got off the train and had to walk around the stadium for a while, basically just look for people looking like their selling tickets i guess, i can tell what they look like whether i'm in the us, italy or holland...over in europe i found its older guys that do it more...i would bet u will pay less from someone at the game than online...i may have been unaware due to the language thing but u can't buy beers at the game either which was disappointing but i guess folks get a little out of hand with alcohol at the sporting events over there, lol...this is completely tangential but i do find it somewhat ironic that such a violent country as the US has virtually no problems to speak of when supporters from out of town want to go see their team play an away game (in fact as an out of town supporter here in the US you can purchase tickets anywhere u want in the stadium and watch the game without a riot police escort or getting road flares thrown at u), but then in all these other places that don't have the sort of explicit violence and crime in society as the US does, supporters have to be segregated, kept sober and at times pacified by force...i have been to many, many soccer games in europe and enjoyed all of them but they are generally some pretty crazy shit...i'm not being negative either i just thought i'd post this and see what u all thought about it b/c i do find it to be a bit incongruous with the rest of euro values towards society...

opposing fans in Europe punch on at every opportunity.....it's mostly harmless, just a few black eyes and busted noses, it's letting off a bit of steam really...but that would never work in the US, as they don't phuck around over there, they would fight each other with pump action shotguns and hand grenades..can you imagine!

Shit in some countries, shit turns into chaos, I remember 10 years ago when in my country it was common for opposing teams to throw empty ballons filled with marbles and gun powder at each other and kids would leave the stadium dead with a glass granade to the dome, not to mention cups filled with piss and shit being lobbed back and forth Firework wars, anything solid can be used as a weapon, and spit is the least you have to worry about in a crazy rivalry game. . Shit can get ugly in football. LOL
