thseeds bubblegum slow growth

Hi ,I brought a pack of thseeds bubblegum fem seeds To run when my c99s had finished but hadn't had the chance to put them in my tent as I've been having a lot of work done on the house. So I sent some beans to a pal of mine who will grow and take clones for me to start once the works are done. I couldn't go 2 months without growing so I kept a seed for myself to go out in back yard. I started it for the first 7 days under a 250 cfl and it been outside for nearly 3 weeks now. so 4 weeks in total growth. It's been very slow growth not only on my outdoor plant but my pal has one under a 400w mh. His is 2 weeks older ,it's twice as tall but real skinny with no side branching. I've run the same strain just before Christmas and they were very different plants,they were awesome. These seeds I got this time looked premature,small greenish things when the first seeds were big fat stripey black beans. My question is,shouldn't this plant look better for 4 weeks veg?

How much sun does it get each day? If you can find a spot that gets sun in the a.m. and lasts most of the day, put it there. Or if you can chase the sun and keep moving it into the light, that should help. Do you keep the soil really moist all the time? Letting it dry out some before watering again should also help.

To answer your question, yes the plnt should be a bit bigger thanit is now. Especially for 4 weeks of veg outside.

Yeah I do let it dry out,I last watered it 3 days ago and it's still moist but we have had some damp weather. Lol yeah I do the chasing Sun thing around the garden. I move it 3 or 4 times a day,it's always in the sun no matter how weak it's shining. the sun rises about 5.30 am and it's setting about 9.20pm. My friend is growing one of these seeds indoors under 400w mh and it's a bit taller but still skinny and weak with no side growth.

So today I lifted the pot from the plants soil and I can see no roots have made it to the bottom of the pot or the side's. It's only a small pot,not sure of the exact size but I would say no bigger than 2 litres. I feel I received some dud seeds from thseeds,I'm disappointed. I will keep it growing outside to see if there's any change over the next couple of weeks.

put them in the ground and i bet they take off. i dont know what it is but all my plants that are in pots at first never really grow that well,but as soon as i put them in ole mother earth they take off. i did a test earlier this year when i planted some of the same strains out in the ground in their final homes and i also had a couple that stayed here at the house with me to see what would happen. sure enuff the ones in the earth grew like mad compared to the ones in the pot with the same soil,same enviroment. its just something about about ole mother earth that cannot be beat for outdoor growing..gl

Well it can't hurt to give it a try. I can't put it in the ground in my backyard because not one spot get enough Sun plus the fact I can't hide it from nosey neighbours. I might go for a countryside walk this weekend and see if I can find a spot away from the public. I have tried guerrilla growing before and failed. I walked for 2 hrs through stinging nettles and all sorts,I found a spot. I dug over the ground and mixed blood and bone meal into soil I also put up a small chicken wire fence and spent ages camouflaging it by putting long grass and twigs through the holes of the wire. I planted 6 2 week old plants in the spot,I went back a week later and all plants had disappeared but the fence was intact. Kinda put me off lol
