Thrown out of Chuckers Paradise

So, I'm a pretty mellow guy. I don't like to engage in heated discussions online and, in general, just post what I'm up to, share stuff, etc.

I was talking to a friend the other day about cannabis forums and they suggested I check out Chuckers Paradise. I went over, opened an account, posted a bunch of pics about my current project, got a couple of nice comments, - just like normal.

I check in to review comments a few hours later and it says my account has been disabled. Hmmm... So I go to my post to see if it's still there and it's filled with about a page or so of people slamming me. My pictures are fake, the reversed Bubba is a male, I'm a troll, my instagram account is only 6 weeks old, and, get this, that I "copied" some guys description of Bubba Kush.

Can you fucking believe it? I'm still scratching my head, dumbfounded. I sent a message to admin kindly requesting that they delete the entire thread as this is clearly a community that had no interest in having me as a member. I've never been the target of online hostility before - part of me was really angry and wanted to engage, the other part was like "fuck it, there's lots of other places to hang..."

I am a member of many forums. Hunting, archery, pellet rifles, vaping, subaru. There is a certain breed of folks that hide behind the anonymity of the internet to spew hostility. I find it amusing.
I am pretty new to the growing side of the Cannabis community, although it provided a means for me for most of my life. I have found that there is a good bit of bro science and lore that is tightly held by the folks of similar disposition from other communities.
I personally refuse to interact with folks emboldened by the safety of the internet. Keeps my peace within reach.
I do not know the story behind bubba kush but it is my understanding the Katsu cut is held in high regard. I am glad you are here, enjoy your posts here and insta and am grateful you are a part of this community.
The knowledge that you guys bring to the table helps guys like me immensely.

Thanks for the kind words. Honestly, I was kind of rattled. Most of my experience on these grow forums has been amazing. I've met lots of cool people and learned a ton.

its probably one person that the group thinks is smart, obviously not, that made the first post and then his lemmings, sheep, minions came right after. As far as Instagram, many people lose their accounts from being reported so a six week old account is not unheard of. thats a bummer to deal with and read. Hope you have a better day and the administrators are kind enough to remove it.

You could have answered your IG messages and it would cleared up the entire issue, Your account looked suspect when you posted a male plant saying it was a reversed female, Some of the content in your messages also looked suspect, After seeing your post here I personally apologize for the mistake.

When it is your hobby and/or livelihood it is understandably special and important to you, breeding and growing cannabis, or cannabis that is. I like this site for several reasons without going into details. Trolls can believe, or even 'create' their own reality, considering censorship or other behavior by others like you described. On one hand you may want to get word out or advertise on as many forums/places as possible, which in reality you find less honest people in business, putting things mildly.

Imposters are taken seriously, Its for everyones own good. I wouldnt want someone creating a sock account in your name or anyone elses and putting your name in the ground. That aint that kind of place. His account was disabled till we could figure out what was going on, Everything looked suspect. It was a mistake and has been corrected,

Seriously? You fucking ATTACKED me without asking ANY questions or checking my creds. My IG account clearly states that I don't do DM's and I have an email address listed for people to ask questions. Furthermore, you could have just sent me a message and cleared things up.

1) The picture I posted is NOT a male, it is the reversed P98 Bubba Kush clone.

2) The other pictures I posted are recently pollinated crosses which DO have seeds (I can feel them in the buds) - they're just young.

3) Logic DID NOT ban me from THCF, in fact, asked if they could peddle my wares.
