Thoughts on PH and biology

D

ok so we all know that we have to PH the water for our plants. There are some cool charts that show what nutes are available at what PHs and that different nutes are available at different PHs. This is biology (biochemistry maybe).

What about humans? Does it apply in the same way regarding human PH ?

I guess this also applies to people using a RO water system for thier plants but drinking the shitty tap water themselves :)

I too have wondered this as well but, I imagine our bodies have a means of regulating internal pH to keep things in homeostasis. Just consider how low of a pH coffee or soda has and people drink that shit all the time.

The human body is supposed to have an alkaline PH.

and yes I try to drink and cook with my filtered water. I dislike RO water because it removes the good minerals and creates a huge amount of waste water.

ignoring the filter/RO/waste thing which is out of these thoughts, the idea of providing perfect food for the plants while we eat KFC and macdonalds is an amusing thought.

I'll rephrase my answer: Yes, PH is major factor in regards to human health. I think our bodies like a PH above 7.0

Yes, it's been joked before we take better care of our plants then us. Go figure ! LOL
