This Schnaps works like an indica

My farher-in-law and me already brewed homemade brandy (or if you like schnaps, in serbian - rakiya) for, like 7 year. His experience in it is about 50 years, mine, 12). But, last autumn, we did something special, to be honest, uninetintinoaly.
The brew came from several different strains of grapes: Plovdina, Prokupac (original Balkan strains), Afus-Ali (turkish-italian) and Villard (old French, ancient origin, east shore USA).
Unlike the previous years, we didn't mixed it with figs, but we kept it staright grape brandy.
The strength is about 55% alc.
It maturated for 3 monhts (it is not enough at all, but the fruit brandy's maturates very fast to be able for some honest drink - 4 years for whisky is like 6 months for fruit brandy in a good oak barrell).
I've tested it a few times in the beggining, but this is the firts time i took about 2,5dcl (a bit less than 1oz)
This stuff takes the time away, just like a good indica. It took me to wright this an 10 minutes (with re-writing), but i took it like at least an hour.
It is sedating, spirtual and relaxing, the things i ddidnt expected form an schnaaps...i'm loosing myselpf///damn...it hit me so hard right now
Guys, i'm not telling anyone alcholhol is the right stuffm but..

I was going to give you crap for all the spelling errors, thinking it was the brandy talking. But then I realized english is probably your second or third language, and such spelling errors are to be expected.

I'm not much of a drinker, but if I do drink, I like tasty things, and that brandy sounds pretty good.

This thread made me go out & buy some Brandy. Not because I expected the results you got from years of experience, but because I've never had it before. I tried scotch when I was younger and I hated it(mostly the burning my lips part). I picked up a cheap bottle at the local store, and it's actually pretty cool. Decent taste..still a little alcohol burn, but that's expected.

i'm going to have to go get some brandy also. i find alcohol is very nice for living in a city environment. it really helps take the edge off the chaos... i can't really drink beer cuz of annoying gluten issues (don't digest it well) so i'll have to stick with wine or distilled liquors. i'll have to try having a small shot of brandy a few times a day. sounds nice. thx... i'll let you know if it really makes me feel better.

It made me feel good. Sat at the kitchen table & ate some orzo w/ chicken, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and bell peppers while drinking my 2nd glass. Had a nice conversation with my brother in law. I think it has to do with the amount of consumption over a period of time. Because it's not like drinking a cocktail, it allows me to maintain a good buzz for a long period of time. Until I decide to take a few shots at the end of the night..then it's over.

Ah - but how is the hangover from it?

Alcohol is fun - but the next day my body is telling me that it is bad for me. And for some reason, my memory is seriously impaired. And that annoys me (especially when i wake up with a stranger in my bed and vomit on the pillow).

So nice discovery - bottle and sell it Tripco - but i'm sticking with weed.

b8, who says you have to go overboard?
The 2 oldest woman in the world, and oldest people, both drank a fermented fruit beverage twice a day or so... a glass of port wine with lunch and dinner. or some palm wine. i think there's something to be said with that. yesterday i had a beer in the middle of the day while out and about and it was very nice when savored... course something messed up with my digestion (gluten) but still...

so having a few drinks mixed into your day as a way to relax a bit is a good idea. your body can deal with it then. its not the poison but the dose of the poison.
