You know that foam at the top looks like you may have a yeast fungus growing in there. I don't really know if that would be a good or bad thing but may affect ph, personally I notice a large slimy mass that grows at the bottom of a good tea.

What are you guys using to clean your buckets out? Also how are you cleaning the airstone, thinking of bubbling it it some H2O2 or something

Dan, what pH is yoru tea at when you give it to the plants?

Yeah Dan, I'd like to know too .... you never answered ... my tea when I'm done is around 7.8 ..... I asked in another thread whether I need to bring it down from that or leave it as is.

That soil soup system looks great, I like the bacteria sample packs as a microbe sampling, it's more reliable than EWC unless homemade in a wormfarm.
Usually my teas are 6.5 or thereabouts, it really depend on the strating ph of your water and the ingredients and especially what fungi and bacteria are monopolizing the tea.

Remind me why we need to clean the bucket out? lol
I just rinse and fill with water and trow the bubble stone back in to dechlorinate the new batch of plain water until it's time to make some brew.

suby is right i do the same thing i do not ph the tea becues i use lots of lime in my suppersoil recipe.the soil soup was a good invesment for organics it loads the tea with oxigen.and i add the stuff that came with the soil soup product but i also have a earth worm farm for fresh castings and mollasese.and i add sea bird guono.and depends wich stage i am at veg i use a high n guono and earth juice grow and pure blend grow with kelp and 5-1-1 fish.in flower i use sea bird guono and a high p guono pure blend bloom kelp and 2-4-5 fish emulsion and fresh earth worm castings and mollases. then at the end of flower i use just earth juice bloom .bloom guono earth worm castings and mollasses.it works good for me .and i do clean some times with bleach water

Hello all,

Um, my teas don't get quite that cloudy-it looks like it is a brewed tea clear dark tan/brownish color.

I am using like 1 tbsn to a gallon.

'wow' I had no idea that teas where that goopy. That's more like a chowder or gumbo or stew or just good thick soup. My tea I made was too diluted.
