Would you do this with a vape, doobie, and bowl? Would be sweet! I love full flavor smoke but damn it might be time for a good vape now after seeing this. I used to be quite fond of the bongs, but in the last year I have bareily touched them or bowls. Both make me cough, and I don't like coughing anymore then the cigs make me. I smoke big fat doobies with ultra thin papers and take er easy, my preferred method of smoke. After seeing this and knowing what the end of my doobies look like it is time....

yeah man its called resin, its everywhere in your lungs. even vaping willleave a resin coating in your lungs.

i agree with you, im getting a top shelf vape for myslef for x-mas and not gonna puff too much, vape way more and eat way more....

well good lookin out, yeah i tried it and it is kinda grose. What I wanted to chime in about was the fact that you just discovered a way to filter your bong - albeit a rough set up... those of us bent on torching things could theoretically utilize/devise some sort of filter for bongs. I mean... I just did it, and the smoke/tar left behind did NOT enter my lungs thanks to your simple devise. Something that filters the smoke AND gives you a fresh/clean pull with no one else's germs. Got some spare time to develop a new product anybody? Clear your Face? haha ... the philter.... facebooks - stacks of them... haha you could really get creative with that one (if my names even made sense to anyone!) ok.. back to that experiment, that was working well! had to suck extra hard therefore... uhhh I forgot... haha ~MissGD

a bit of emphasyma has me coughing hard enough to anuerism several times a day...i have a vape but instead roll the several joints a day i usually consume and don't see an end short of my demise.

Hey Krunch im glad you posted that little experiment. Bongs were my favorite way to smoke for a few years, but then I bought a vaporizer for a healthier way to get high. I vape 95% of the time now because the taste is amazing. A joint or bong tokes with friends is still fun, but I rarely combust because it tastes much worse to me now.

Ive rolled up about 30 ciggie filters into about a 2" round filter, all standing on end of course. It was just taped over the bong outlet. It worked well. Be good to be able to buy single filters in that aprox size.

sitting at a vending table with patients strolling by, I would love to have a way to give a patient a freshie hit off my bong without sharing germs with everyone else who had the same idea. A lot of *real* patients have sensitive immune systems, so for real... a disposable filter is not a bad idea. Whether you cut circles out of paper towel or what ever... alcohol works but not easy to deal with. Plus just sanitizing it is just half of the idea... the filter is the same as a filtered cigarette. We all know its reinventing the wheel but even as an educated adult, you think black tar belongs only to cigarette smokers. Good to be aware anyway! I will pull that on a few people and see if they will do it!
