That's not cool at all, who ever that officer is, is a fucking lame. You mean to tell me they seriously watch people buy grow nutrients and follow up on the ones that they think look suspicious just to try and check and see what they're growing? I mean.. :noway:

Grow supply store surveillance is very common in Florida. They still try to justify their massive DEA budget with this kind of frivolous investigative work.

even here in BC, my local supplier was under camera surveliance 24/7 and the rcmp took licence plates to run. i had a visit and showed them my op of 5 plants, then they left. they are after the 50 light ops not the personal use up here. in the usa its another story.

thats been happening forever....here in oakland they even do surveillance at the local dump to look for the big trucks pulling up throwing out bags of dead plants and a half dozen filters...

they dont really care about small time guys buyin a few bags of soil or a few bottles...they want the massive triad and cartel grows where they roll up in a box truck and fill it up with pallets of rockwool cubes and dozens of the large nute containers..

it makes sense..if i was a piggy and didnt have any leads, and wanted to find some fresh shit i would post up at the grow shops all day lookin for the big ballers...guys rollin up in brand new Hummers and Yukons on rims and shit. dont make yourself a target!

Why are they no longer good people is a mystery to me...not like they were the one's with guns and bright strobey lights cloggin up the road for hours, then leaving the house next door vacant to fall into disrepair and lowering your prop. value. Fucking idiots.

There is no right to be free from investigation in the usa. Supreme court ruled on that a while ago. Dangerous stuff, follow you until you use a spray can against the labels directions and your screwed. No normal person will get treated that way but if your popular and outspoken you can be followed forever. Think john lennon and edward windsor

Why not? I think you are overstating that a bit. (we are talking about a backwater state after all) I go to a few different ones, and believe me I look and look as I am the paranoid sort. Never have I seen any cops or anyone sitting around in vehicles for that matter. I don't believe the stores even have cameras. I feel safe there, except the dudes recognize me when I go there now! :D

fertilizer a probable cause for an investigation? Do they track everyone that buys Miracle-Gro from Casa Depor? Oh I'm sorry, it is a special fertilzer, from a special place... why should that matter? Some granny could want it for her orchids or some other eccentric cuck could want to grow veggies despite it not worth the cost, how can they make that connection? Yeah I know I too have heard of this kind of thing before, maybe if you get this and that and the other all at once, but simply fertilizer? I don't think we are hearing the whole story!

lol these guys always make it look worse then what it is. We all must have some seriously sophisticated grow rooms since we have lights in them lmao. What would a Ghetto grow room have to look like to not be sophisticated.

Easier said than done. I try to order what supplies I can online, but there are some things (such as soil) I need to go to the grow store for.
I try to limit my exposure as much as possible though.

Also you don't "neeeed" that foxfarm or whatever your getting, they sell dirt "EVERYWHERE" Check a local nursery, they prolly mix their own shit up that's MUCH better than overpriced, mostly peat/sawdust Fox "puke" Farms (just used as an example, i have no idea what your using/buying)
