Third time at first grow

well let me start with hi all and thanks for all the info. ive tryed this a couple times before but because of a x i had to keep taring down .but with her gone ive finaly got the safty and the room to make it happen ill get started with the set up,id like to call it a "poor boy grow" i have a 3 ft deep by 5ft wide and 6ft high closset and a tub setup with 2 25 gal tubs. heres some pics of the start

heres the tub and you can see im sucking the good heated air for it out of my closset witch is a constent 76 degress

The closet is painted white throughout in two chambers 1 for moms someday and the other for clones and seeds.



ill put pics of the babys next but this is what in starting with also i have a 75 watt hps light for my moms in the closet with my bubble cloner and seeds on the other side in the dark.

in the cloner i have ak-47 and some dw.as far a seeds i have some nh and some very good bag seed.all gifted from the 1 and only 1toke well getting cut short for now ill put more on later.damn work

Heres somemore of what i got going in the tub for now.will keep all in here till they start getting pushy for room then the nh and the bagseed will be moved on.

ak clones in the bigger pots at 4 days after they came out of cloner and the rest are bagseed and nh from seed

and here they are a week later alot bigger and starting to smell great but with ak its a given.sorry about the pic quality.camera not the best.but you can get the just of it they are loveing the tub and the transplant into the bigger pots.

and heres a pic of the improvement i made to the tub seems to be better as far as heat im in a cold area of the world and this seems to keep the heat in better.

and lastly for now heres the next mission im going to make this fishtank stand a micro grow with the 75 watt hps

The tub vented? Didn't notice a blower or fan. Warmer weather might move in next month. rofl

yes tub vented. was out top and in bottom but i switched it.seems to keep a better temp ill vent straight outside soon but its ok just blowing out tub now and yes i could use more cuts after the heat loss i lossed 8 of the 10 that i had but the 2 i have are doing great now

Ah, I see - didn't see the vent hose in the first post.

They look like they will be OK, good job.

What's your soil mix.
What nutes are ya usin, and how's the water PH.
Do the temps stay at 76 even with lights off?
What's your photoperiod, 18 on & 6 off?
What's the total wattage in the tub, the tub is the veg chamber-then into the future flower cabinet (tank stand)?

If I remember that light it needs a good reflector, and it gets hot enough to burn the wall or ceiling so direct mounting would be a problem, I think you would have to hang it so some air flows over the top and around it....

That's all I can think of at the moment....got clones to get potted up, will check to see if anyone is ready to give up some cuts. My cloner needs to be cleaned and water changed-will check all the cuts and plan out veg time for cuts....got it full of ECSD & Trainwreck and have to make room for cuts for the next run and see what's left and what I can for ya...

howdy 1 toke whats up? ok lets see i have been useing the same nuts that i had for the other grow but right now im not giving them much just kind of going with the lazy grow this time around.id like to get a grow under my belt for some experence.not to conserned about yeild and what not right now ,just trying to get everything set up and working on the health of plants .(all what i have now will mostly go into mom cab when i get new light) as far as lights they are on 18 - 6 and its amazing to me the progress of the plants everyday.the temp issue is gone now i have the little heater and its got a temp gauge and its doing great at 75 lights on or off. and yes the light i got from you is very hot but i have it mounted on a peice of 1x1 and it seems to be working good i ran a test run in the fish stand last night and it seemed to work great.im going to put the nh in it after i get painting done.anyway thanks for stopping by and for q,s later

ok quick update all is good.and my dw is starting to comeback to life showing some new growth. can anyone tell me on the two hazes i have,should i keep topping or just wait till i put them under the scrog screen?i know they are going to want to grow big and tall but id like to keep them smaller bushes any sugestions would be apreshated thanks heres is a pic. the two taller plants in the back are the nh and the little one in the left cup is the dw reveged.

Lookin good. That DW cut is fair toke, one of mom's favs. When you say topping, are you topping for cola pairs, or FIMing. If you snip the whole top of a new growth it will branch into two. If you FIM (Fuck, I Missed) each branch will turn into four. I FIM after the first topping at 5-7th node, then FIM the taller once more to let the lower new branches catch up. The more you do it the more branches you get but the nugs may get smaller. For screen I'd FIM away until the screen is full. FIM is just like topping, only you miss and leave a little of the new growth leaves, like a dixie-cup.

If you remember that haze I had last year that was supercropped, you might want to think about that style for a screen. Instead of topping, pinch the new growth and bend it over forcing nugs out all along the branches. This way the branches can be tied to the screen along it and new colas form all along the branch on the screen. Everyone has their favorite ways, experiment for the one that works best for you and your grow room.

Couple more weeks and we'll see about replacing the lost ones.

hay 1 toke tkx again for stopping over! been towing the shit out of them cars but everything doing good! still cant get the dw to comeback but the ak is ready to be a momma could have took babys sooner but need to get good healthy one,more the marrier but heres whats up!!
moved the tub to the otherside of closset and got the air running great.
heres all i had that survived the deep freeze and the power outage.of the cuts gifted,is the 1 and only ak
i also have my nh from seed ill be flipping them tommorrow into new pts and 12-12

probley be a bit before i can stopback but to all that swing through smoke one for me i will for you when summer comes, this way later
