I vote none of the above in the US elections. The two party system has killed the American dream. Most voters still pick a side. Really? Like it matters which one you support? They are on the same team and they don't care who you choose so long as they are not challenged by a third party or voter revolt. Americans are too lazy to revolt so they just keep choosing from the two parties. Get used to it people. The real change you seek is but a dream and will never be realized as long as we have 100% corrupt politicians working with the wealthy and elite people to keep us all poor. But what the fuck do I know? Nothing. So I will sit in my assets, not working, minding my business, drinking water, and laughing at the state of our fucked up thing. I laugh because I will get to watch the people on both sides who got us here, get dragged and taken advantage of by the rich people while doing nothing for the voters. Nothing. The voters are the least loyal people ever. They like pissing on each other, they like being dicks, they like voting pain on one another, and they could give a shit about each other. Sure, keep voting the way you do. People like me with assets, net worth, no kids, no bills, no mortgages, and no reason to care about politics will watch the shit show and not give a fuck. About anything. Break the whole fucking thing and I could care less.

I agree with most of that for sure.
Howeva; I think there are a couple of key issues that keep this shit show rolling. I will not get into any party politics bullshit here, but have to brush up against it... yes the two party system has mostly lead us to this point where it's now a "team sport" and facts do not matter. Just yell louder than the other guy, and keep repeating it, enough ignorant people will believe it.
But two huge things that have to change, or we're really all fucked.
We need to bring back a modern version of the Fairness Doctrine, tailored to our current media environment. I won't go into the details of the Fairness Doctrine, anyone interested can look it up, and look up who repealed it. Think to yourself about why they would do that...
Money. Out. Of. Politics. The Supreme Court deciding that corporations are "people" and can use their money as "free speech" is probably the single biggest thing that has us in this hot mess.
That's all I am comfortable saying on here.

The Monroe Fairness Doctrine was the best tool against the modern robber barrons. The guy that made trickle down happen helped get rid of the Fairness Doctrine. Now here we are.
Back on track the $1 per gram provincial tax is getting close to the net profit for a indoor producer.
