thick shiny leaves clawed and wrinkeld

what causes the leaves to become shiny thick and distorted?
only on the top of the plant the leaves look like they been painted with gloss paint and are thick like cardboard water nuts ph and temps are fine

where can I get info on problums that are not in the grow books?

You can go here. and try to identify your problem.

Not too sure if thick leaves is bad.....if anything, it might just be a case of overwatering. I dont know about the distorted part though

There may not be a problem at all. Ive had plants with similar leafs and I think it depends on the strain. If the leafs start to curl up or show signs of malnutrition then its time to be concerned. But it sounds like itll be fine IMO. Some pics and a strain ID may help some though.

I knew i was leaving something out haha. Yeah, it could just be the strain.

Also Borders Books has a great selection of Grow books and they encourage you to sit and read...free all day long and more info on Cannabis than the library were i'm at...best of luck
