heres the deal i got a 250 watt hps 3 feet above my 2 week old plants (which only have about 10 leaves cause i suck), i thought this was due to over nuting them so i repoted them, and each day that goes by ( its been 2 so far) they wilt more and more and the bigest one is starting to shrivel up i had a fan blowing on them to lower the temp but i took it off and its about 80F there now, i give them 2 squirts with a water bottle almsot every hour should i water more? less? please someone get me outa this mess

Dude, if you want your plants to grow, you can't be messin' with them so much... I can think of no situation where something would need to be done to a plant every hour... the temps are fine in the 80's, blowing wind on the wilted plants may not help much... If you over nute a little, run some clean water through the pot... don't keep the soil wet, but don't let them get dry enough to wilt badly... if the soil is wet and they are wilting, it's probably not from thirst...
relax a little, plants want to grow, you just have to give them some good dirt, light, and a little water once in a while...

I dont think you should have the fan directly blown at them... I hear it can cause wind burn..you probably should have vegged longer if you wanted more leaves 2 weeks isnt a long time.. and if you thought it was overnuting you should have flushed for several days.. I dont know about wilting really.. just getting the other problems... I am not an expert.. sorry and good luck.. welcome to ICmag..

yeah overwatering is one of the biggest problems newbies face.. I have never had that problem though dunno why.. i think the strains I have grown love it.. or something

i did have a problem kind of like this not long ago. it was because my plants were too close to the lights. but you say 3 feet! that almost seems too far away.
but your temps seem too be way too hot for females. i was told that around mid-70's is great for female production.
i would try to get more ventalation and maybe try to get the air moving. maybe not directly on them but atleast get some air circulation.

<Great - i water my plants with a squirt on the leaves about every 2 hours. keeps the leaves a nice green color.

I am glad it does... but still nothing 'needs' to be done to them that often... And the more you screw with your plants, the greater the chance of you screwing them up...

imho

these plants require minmal human intervention...

let them grow. they will reward you for it.

can I just add that keeping your leaves wet while they are under lights is not a good idea.

Tell me one strain of cannabis that originates in the rainforests. Different plants like different conditions, but it's ok if you dont want any advice, I'll leave ya to it.

thanks again for the info, but NOW on top of everything the bottum 2 (first 2 leaves) are turning yellow and it looks like all the other leavces are yellowing too..... has anyone ever had this many problems? i KNOW its not overnuting them b/c with the new soil i put em in i havnt fed them yet

this is not what you want to hear...but they are probably suffering from shock, and will most likely die.

do you have any pictures??

next time round, don't f*ck with them so much, and don't overwater them.

i'm sorry if you lose your plants. it is a learning process, some lessons are harder to learn than others.

i'm not trying to berate you, please don't take it that way.

sprout some more, try again.
